If you are looking for good equipment, don't go there! I had a hole in my BCD! And the needle of the gauge was broken. The one of my friend was simply not working. This was definitely not the equipment I selected the day before. Also it's not really a dive shop anymore. It's just a guy who ones bad equipment and hires freelancer as dive masters. The bottles ALL are out of service since last month! It's just cheap (250.000 for a fundive!) but not worth to put your live on the line. The owner brought us himself to a better dive shop, Sea Hua Haha. That was nice, but a bit strange.

We came across deep blue after comparing the cost of about 5 different dive schools. As always we like to review the diving centre to see what the feedback is from other travellers but this school only had the 4 reviews. After checking around a few more dive shops, it was clear that Deep Blue was the cheapest around at 2 dives for 450,000 rupiah. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful so we decided to book on with a 50,000 rupiah deposit for the two of us. The next day, we arrived at the shop to find all the equipment set up for us. They supplied us with the usual wet suits, flippers and very nice masks, etc. We walked down to the beach (2 mins tops) and put on our gear and went for the dive. It was just the two of us with the divemaster who was also really friendly and nice. The only genuine downside for me was they didn't have a fish ID card to help when filling out my log book.

Simple but well organised dive resort. Decent equipment, very quick and hassle free to arrange the dive and a great dive on the amazing wreck. Highly Recommended

Very nice equipment, very co-operative and experienced staff and nice weather made this an experience for life-time for me and my wife! Walking on the sea-bed hand-in-hand with lots of colourful fish swimming around us is to be experienced rather than heard or read! :P
