The diving school is great and delivers great quality for their price! I did the advanced open water diving course (PADI). And got two days of enjoyment. It had been a while (two years) since diving. But they gave me all the time to get used to the setting, material and rules again. The instruction and guidance during the course was good, and we walked trough the theory followed by the practice. After each dive we did the log and debriefing. The theory I learned from the book, and did an exam accordingly. All with all a great experience and safe diving!

After two years I came back to stay at Amed Scuba, this time for a month since I was doing my freediver training at Apnea Bali in Tulamben. Wow we have a pool now! Putu, who resolves everything for you, seems like even before you ask her (Gili tickets, motor bike, laundry, food, tour, car...whatever you may need) was there to welcome me and make me feel at home. The new bungalows are super cute and comfy. It was just what I needed, a space to wind down in, after hard days of training. The staff, as always, kind and loving, no ther way to describe them. Thank you again Amed Scuba. I hope to return soon. :-)

In the winter of 2016 I took a beginners course for diving at Amed Scuba. Except for having so much fun with our dive instructor Holger, taking us to amazing snorkling spots for our first open water dives and having really nice lunches at the really pretty scuba center the experience was not only a great deal of fun but the course layout felt altogeher proffesional, educational and all together very thought through. For a first time diver Holger as a dive instrucuctor did a great job adjusting the course to our learning pace and by being calm, pedagogic and keeping a good balance between practise and theory each opportunity for practising inside the pool or out on the water felt prepared for and therefor a lot of fun. The equipment felt well taken care of and they were very keen on getting us gear that had a good fit. By being organized and providing clear instructions before each task as well as being relaxed and fun this as a first time diving experince left me wanting more. I Also have to say the lunches were supergood and in itself a nice experience of Balinese cooking! I really recommend Amed Scuba and I look forward going back for more!
