Been to Thirparappu Falls a few months back. This is an artificial water fall near Nagorcoil. It was slightly crowded with a local tour group when we reached. Pretty well maintained and has a nominal entry fee. Boating require separate entry pass/ticket. Paid parking is available nearby.

One could see a wide expanse of falls. Beauty is that we can have a bath that rejuvenates. Children too can enjoy.

An excellent waterfall to enjoy anytime during the day. If it is crowded then you may not enjoy it. So an early morning outing or a late evening visit will be good.

Best visited in monsoon the surrounding area is very touristy. Lots of shops selling snacks and trinkets. One can stand under the waterfall and there are changing areas. There is an ancient shiva temple located close by overlooking the river which can be visited if you like.

Waterfalls just had the right and sufficient amount of water. I enjoyed it completely. Taken by surprise when i visited this as i didn't expect it to be that nice. Offered more than i expected. When you plan for a tour like tirunelveli, Nagercoil or Kanniyakumari, make it a point to visit this if you get too tired of temples... More

Because at the Top the story is completely different. Basically this place is like in different levels, the bottom most part of the water fall is commercialised into a swimming or better called Bathing Pool which just sucks quite plainly speaking. And then the next level is the plain rocky part above the former level where the water flows in... More

A bit crowded falls. Not recommended for peace lovers. But the property is well maintained and was neat. They have done some safety measures also. Also made a kids pool .

First thing is that be prepared with a clear road map to reach this place, because it is linked to Peachiparai reservoir and Mathoor Aqueduct. It is a must visit if you are going with your kids. The kiddos will have a blast here. The best time to visit the falls is after the monsoon is over, as this will... More
