The beach is the main attraction for tourists. People enjoy here during sunrise and sunset time. It is not possible to take bath here as it is rocky beach. Few eateries are available. A good beach for spending some time with family.

This beautiful palatial building built in the 16th Century in Thuckalay by the Maharajas of Travaore has beautiful woodwork and fascinating floors, which apparently were created with thousands of egg whites? Indeed the shiniest floors I have ever seen. the Palace has been declared by UNESCO as a WORLD HERITAGE Center. There are guided tours which take about 15 minutes,... More

It was a month of monsoon I visited kanyakumari. It was a part of our month long indian coastal tour. I travelled from Rameswaram to kanyakumari. Reached at 4 in the morning. Average beach but importance is its a place where all 3 oceans meet each other. Bay of bengal, indian ocean, arabian sea. There is a temple belonging to goddess kanyakumari right there. Lots of street food and toy stores available there. Nice place to hunt sea shell shops around

Public park was worst and not clean. urinary smells and waste thrown all over the park. Proper care should be taken and more seating can be arranged.

The beach is not as it used to be due to sea corrosion and the Tsunami of 2004. The great sand dunes are all gone and the sea is pretty rough although if you manage to go on a boat you can sea the place where the Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal meet with Indian Ocean(Sangamam) The views from... Kanyakumari beach is the most beautiful beach . It was clean and awesome. We felt there is enough privacy in the beach. Walking towards the beach was a good experience.

The beach provides absolutely breathtaking view of setting sun. Stony area so need to be careful while walking, choose your slippers/shoes carefully. Cleanliness is very poor, only negative point here.
