As everyone said it's just a milestone dedicated to the father of the nation close to Triveni Sangam.. the structure of the monument is kinda unique n looks good in white and blue.. it's a stone throw distance from the sunrise point. Needs to be maintained as its dedicated to the father of the nation. Just a point not to... More

I thought this would be much like the official Gandhi memorial and museum in Delhi, but it really wasn't. An average building with maybe 20-30 pictures on the wall like a snapshot of the great mans life, I felt a little cheated if I'm honest. The main memorial, Raj Ghat in New Delhi is a a MUST PLACE to see... More

Had heard of this Memorial dedicated to the Father of Nation. Thought of visiting this place. Was deeply disappointed with the maintenance of this place. It was not at all clean and yet we were asked to remove our foot wear to visit it. This is a three storeyed building dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. Central hall has pictures portraying the... More

As we were visiting kanyakumari and after visiting Vivakanada rock memorial and Trivelluar statue. Sangam of three seas. We were going to sunset point so we thought we will visit Gandhi dham before that .You have to deposit your footware for a nominal price before you enter the building. Inside we found a hall with Gandhi ji pictures and a... More

A wonderful historic place to visit for a pilgrimage with amazing views of the three oceans and where devout Ghandi spent time and indeed where his ashes rested before being committed to the oceans.

It is the place where Gandhiji's Ash was kept before it was dissolved into Sea. Rare Photos of Gandhiji are displayed. If we goto top floor we get a good view of Thiruvalluvar Statue and Vivekananda Rock and Seashore. Ideal for Photos.
