Great spot to spend 3-4 hours, specially in evening or when weather is good. There is natural beauty of rocks and ravines and waterfall.

Location is exactly where Google Maps tells you it will be. Entry fee is 105 rupee per adult, 40 per child, kids below 10 years free, and 345 for car.

Ticket is bit on high side gives absolutely lack of any amenities or tourist development. There is no drinking water or bathroom. Nothing to eat. Lots of monkeys so you better avoid taking any eatables.

Waterfall downstairs is great to spend an hour in but there are no changing facilities. Plan to carry extra pair of clothes though to enjoy the bath. Rest is just walking, sitting, and clicking pictures.

And yes, road off National Highway is pathetic to say the least.

It's bit sad because this could have been so much better. Ravine view restaurant, snacks and food counter, changing facilities, bathing clothes rental, rope way across ravine, boat ride, better road and parking, and so much more can be done to develop this as great tourist attraction.

Did I like this place ? Hell yes, this is one of the best memories I have. What a place, what a view ... and lots of Monkeys around :)

Just to remember that you try to reach before 5 pm to get entry otherwise doors will be closed. You need to enter this place by 4 pm (winter season) ..and come out by 6

its about 5 km inside from the main excellent highway (Kota to Chittorgarh) , but maintained by the forest department (with their own rules and regulations to follow).

But what a view, what a place it is.

Visit this place while its clean and touristy!! A must visit if you are around. It is still pristine clean and less crowded which is welcome change considering the high tourist volume in Rajasthan.
the place is controlled by forest dept. Paying for car entry is worth as the the viewpoint is around 1.5km walk from mail gate. the temple is a small trek down but viewpoint can be reached easily through vehicle. we went in evening and spotted lots of peacock, monekys, deer.
Google guided us correctly and the road from highway to entry gate was a rough ride.Make sure you plan well as the gate closes by 5PM sharp.

Place is under forest department so entry ticket and entry and exit timings are there.
Make sure you go in winter or in morning as it is hot in day.
Mostly rocky and monkey are there.
One very small Shiva temple.

Scienic palace where an old Shiva-temple is situated on valley slope of Chambal river. The Chambal river takes it's most beautiful turn here. A must visit place in around Kota. It is located near the NH-76 that leads to Dabi and Chittorgarh. If you’re someone who enjoys spectacular views, then this place doesn’t disappoint. It provides one of the most mesmerising views you can hope to find of the Chambal River, gorge and the plains. The shrine can be reached by descending a few steps where you can pay your respects to Lord Shiva. The place is a tad remote and isolated from regular tourist hotspots but is worth the journey you have to make. Most people recount being stunned by the sheer beauty and memorable view. Thanks to the privacy and view it affords, this spot is quite popular as a picnic destination. Nature lovers can sit here for hours, absorbing its tranquillity and pristine beauty. Budding poets, writers and artists can count on being inspired by the still, blue waters and surrounding wilderness. If peace, blessings, nature’s splendor and privacy is what you’re looking for, you won’t find a better place than this

It s a great picic spot away from the city and provides great view of chambal river. I would suggest not to travel alone as this place is pretty secluded. It is good place for big group.

Visited in 2013 and found this place awesome. Lush Green, bent of the river chambal, Mahadev temple, just too good. You will feel relaxed at this place. Just keep a watch over monkeys.

Route is dangerously secluded with no directions. The lip of the cliffs provide awesome views of the meandering river below. The horse shoe curve of the River Chambal surely has taken millions of years to take this breathtaking formation
