Entry is free. There are tall trees. But did not find any flowers. Nothing much to see here. Empress botanical garden in Pune much much better. Not worth visiting this place, can be avoided.

ryewood park....-only place where u can sit for hours, its a garden.near to main lonavla...so we shuld b expecting large number of people, couples..
its a nice silent place..
but reality is people just pass by.. reason no maintenance.. . garden not maintained. litter, all over.. its deserted , and seem unwanted..no planned action, big tress.. but no greenery.. such a nice big place, it can turn into a good park.. but plain apathy..by ppl.garden can b made, if efforts r taken , it will b heaven .

There is nothing much to call it a park except for few old trees and their roots where kids can climb or swing. It was not at all neatly maintained drink bottles and glass pieces were lying here and there apart from other litter and mosquitoes. Its just waste of time or can spend few minutes for the old trees.

Nothing much to see in the park other than trees and an abandoned water tank. The park is at a 5 minute walk distance from the Lonavala railway station, but only worth spending 5 minutes there. Its is better to visit other attractions in lonavala than wasting time and money to get to this park.

I was shocked to see the decrepit condition of the only decent size park in Lonavala - a city frequented by tourists and visitors. Looks like Lonavala residents and city's elected representatives take no pride in their city.

The good thing about the park is it has many tall trees. With a little effort and expense the park can be improved to have walking paths, benches, bins for trash and even toilets. On the other hand I have seen many decent parks destroyed by cheap gimmicks such as toy trains, food vending stalls, water towers, etc. at the expense of trees, shrubs and flowers. Tourists visit Lonavala from big cities like Mumbai to see the natural beauty of Sahyadri Hills, not for cheap commercial thrills. Lonavala should not only preserve the trees and open space of Ryewood Park, but strive to improve it.

The park is not so great but there is a tree which has amazingly long branches. One can go visit and come back in an hour or so.

Ryewood park has a temple in between and has beautiful 100 year old tress in it. Nothing much to be done here though.

Very clean and well-maintained park. It is full of tall trees and flowers. There is also a temple inside the park. Entry is free for all. Nice way to spend a lazy afternoon. But if you are short of time you may avoid it as there are no landscapes here.

Named after Mr. Rye who was an English officer who stayed here for a considerable time. It is a thickly wooded park and a popular tourist attraction.
