We left pune at 7 from pimple Saudagar and reached bhushi dam nearby ghats at 8.30 had some breakfast there and then teaches korigad at 9.30 and started trekking... This trek has 2 parts... First comes jungle type road and secondly steps.. It's an easy trek. Took 1.5 hour to reach top and the view from there is awesome.. We... More

If you are reading this review to decide whether or not to go to Korigad, then its a very simple decision to make YES YOU SHOULD (Only if its Monsoon Season though). The Place isn't far from Mumbai\Pune, before Amby valley and after Lions Point Lonavala. We wasted our 30 mins by missing out on a left turn and hence... More

We visited as a small group. There is small car parking available at base of fort. There are very few signs to point to the correct direction but still you can't get lost. After some trek through muddy soil you reach the stairs that lead up to the top. At places water streams flow over the stairs. So be careful... More

When i first saw the fort i was wondering how difficult it would be to go on top. Intentionally started a jungle ride which deviates from main road. It was truly an exciting experience. Amby Valley view from top is just so beautiful that you might forget to take a breath. This fort deserves an entry into the list of... More

Visited Korigad as a day trip during the last July week end from Mumbai. Drive to the place is pretty straight forward. The base village is Pedh Shahpur. There is good amount of parking facility available. Its a less crowded place with most tourists settling down at Bushi dam and Lions point at Lonavala. Bringing your own vehicle is preferable.... We did one day trip to korigad from Mumbai in our own car. It was raining and the drive was just beautiful lush green. You dont mind the extreme traffic jams on the highway. Korigad is located a few kilometers ahead of ambi valley city. Its a small trek with way leading to steps and then around 200 steps to... More

My 2nd trekking experience at the Korigad Fort. It takes around 1.5-2 hours to reach the top from the base village. Awesome weather, amazing waterfalls, luscious greenery and breathtaking view.

Its a good place to go for trek - especially during monsoons. Located approx. 45 mins away from Lonavala, its a good place with a good view.

Visited Korigad which is situated at the foothills of Amby valley near Lonavla. It is a very some route halfway through jungle and halfway through stone staircase. It is an easy trek. It has a beautiful top view and especially in monsoons has a wonderful weather. There are small ponds at the top which add to the fun. Trek lovers,... More
