Ekvira Devi temple is in Karla Caves. We need to walk for 20 - 30 mins to reach this place, after going half way in vehicle. Big vehicle are not allowed.

The temple is on top of a hill behind which is the karla caves. We went around the caves and then entered the templ. The temple is well maintained and we had a good darshan. There was no much crowd so were so done with it quite fast.

The temple is maintained well to manage crowd & to ensure pilgrims stand in queue. Photography is prohibited. The visit to temple can be combined with a viit to Karla caves as they... More

Goddess Ekvira being our family diety has given us ample of opportunities to visit her sacred home at karla. The surrounding brings a special power within itself and makes you feel pleasant while you are in the premises. The temple is located up on the hill and requires climbing for 30 mins. The experience is pleasant and you feel blessed... More

You have to climb steep slope to go upto the hill. This temple is right on top of the hill. You can see complete Lonavala and couple of forts from this place that are beyond Karla. Easily accessible from Lonavala. Must visit in monsoon to have fun.

you have to climb stairs to reach temple. No other option is there so better oldage and small kids should avoid. Make sure that you don't visit in any festival days. we went in Navratri so, have to wait in line . Other wise it should be in your must visit list
