This is popularly also known as the taj mahel of bijapur. try to visit in the morning before there is too much crowd. You can see the entire city from the top of the monument. Its a great place to hear echo :)

Nice piece oF Deccan Architecture, a must visit if you are passing Bijapur. Nice exhibits of the Adil Sha era The Wash rooms were dirty, ASI can surely look into maintaining the place much cleaner.

The tomb was built as an echo chamber so that the slightest whisper could be heard all over. When you climb up to the walkway around the roof the noise becomes deafening as people shout to hear the echoes. But well, worth the visit.

The opening time is definitely 6am and not 6.30am or 10am as some other reviewers have mentioned. We were there at 6am in the morning and were allowed entry. The museum closes at 5pm but I'm pretty sure that entry to the... More
