This was an overnight stay as part of a tour package with Voyage Jules Verne. The boat for our group for the overnight stay on the houseboat was unacceptable, and was substantially inferior in quality to the others provided to the others in the group. It was not set up for the number of people it was supposed to house... More

This is a must do. 4 people share a narrow canoe type boat with a roof shade. You just sit there and watch as a different world unfolds before you. It's so gentle the only danger is falling asleep and missing out. Life on the water is interesting with plenty to see, the fish seller in his boat crying out... More

This was a never to be forgotten stress free experience! We took in the full trip and thoroughly enjoyed every minute! Four of our party of 11 in each of three shaded canoes were paddled safely along the uncrowded backwaters of this Indian Venice! The leisurely pace allowed us to enjoy the colours of the mango trees, banana plants, bougainvilleas,... More

Our overnight trip on the houseboat was simply wonderful. We had a nice spacious bedroom with en-suite bathroom which whilst not luxurious was clean and comfortable. The front of the boat was fitted out with comfortable sofas for us to sit back and enjoy the stunning scenery. We stopped mid afternoon to visit a small village with a beautiful church... More

We were booked for one night on a houseboat as part of a tour. It was definitely a high point of the tour, although not as interesting as I had hoped. The houseboat had one bedroom and nice comfortable chairs for relaxing and taking in the view. We cruised around the lagoon and canal shores close to local houses. The... More

Kids loved the boat house and it looks so good outside . Full of water on both sides and fish fry was amazing. It was out of the world.

What do you do and where do you run when you're on a houseboat and cockroaches are everywhere? It was a night from hell. Couldn't sleep and couldn't shower because I just felt my skin crawling all night. The nasty critters came out in the evening as we were stopping for the evening. Prior to that, we relaxed as the...
