This temple allows non Hindu to wander around but there's no English information anywhere and our tuk tuk driver could barely speak English to explain to us about the temple. There's extra charge to take photos and so that's all we did. Wandered around and...More

Very serene atmosphere. Men have to remove and bare their top. Please remove your footwear in your vehicle along with what you wear on top. Spend good time listening to priest offerings to Lord Subramaniam.

As a foreigner we felt welcomed and were able to walk around freely. They even opened up a few closed off areas for us to see. Beautiful, breath taking and so peaceful inside a busy city!

It is about 8 kms from the station. You have buses available. Tale bus route no 5. It will reach you close to the temple. Autos are also available. But you may have to bargain.
