Crowded at the entrance, but surprizingly not inside. One must lie in a boat to enter. Very refreshingly cool inside. Lots of steps. Too many lights. Waterfall was best part. Bring a cane to steady yourself on stone steps.

Located just 30min out of jinhua city this tourist attraction is a great place to visit. The caves are located to the east of city in mountains. My visit was in winter so no visitors around, seriously, there were more staff than visitors. This made it great as no cues to worry us. The caves require a walk up stairs but is easy walk. Entry into caves is by a boat trip of about 30 mts under a rock shelf. You lay down flat to pass under which is fun. Caves are extensive but dry easy path to walk along. At the end of cave you climb stairs which are very steep past the Child water fall and Mother water fall. Easy a tough climb if not reasonably fit.
Once out at top of caves you then walk down many steps , past temple that is worth visit, to car park.
So if you have a spare moment in jinhua give the caves a visit.

A great destination to get out of Shanghai for a long weekend and cool off in the summer in the caves. The surrounding area was impressive with the mountains, forests, and Chinese culture. To get inside the main cave you have to lay down in a shallow boat and get pulled in. Definitely one of the highlights!

Although the lights and sound system can be a bit gaudy at times, and the caves aren't in the best condition, the boat trip in and through the caves is quite atmospheric.

Visiting during the off-peak season, there were few other visitors, and we didn't even need to wait to get in. Allow yourself a couple of hours to see everything, well worth the trip (or detour, whatever the case may be).

Very nice place to visit. What is cool is that when you enter the cave you have to lay down on a boat and the cave is inches from your face. My suggestion is to bring a towel it gets crazy humid in the cave.

If you really want to waste a summer afternoon, and cool down, the Double Dragon Cave is pleasantly chilly, and that is about all it has to offer. Everything in the area is extremely overpriced and not very special.

The area is great for a day out in the mountain. Hilly areas to explore and lots of water features all over the place. There is even a small Buddhist temple.
