This is one of the best temples, if not the best, that I have visited. With a fascinating history, the rebuilt temple is stunning. The temple, the the Buddha's, the grounds make for a powerful experience. It was filled with people when I visited, but there was still a tremendous peacefulness about the temple. This is well worth the time, and the park surrounding the temple makes for a nice walk after visiting the temple. I recommend this temple without hesitation...even for those who may not generally like temples.

A lovely temple floating on the edge of Yangcheng Lake this makes for a great day out. Only 20RMB to enter and way worth the money. The Goddess of mercy statue (33m high!) is incredibly impressive! Open until 5.

First of all the location is not in Kunshan as stated here, its in Suzhou by Yang Cheng Lake. Just a 2 minute drive from Palace Lan Resort & Spa. Very old temple but well maintain. A lot of Buddhist followers go and pay respect. The highlight is the 33 meter high Goddess of mercy housed inside the temple.
