While locals recommended Zhouzhuang (which I went to as well) I found Jinxi a quaint water town less congested with tourists when I went. Beautiful flowers, fabulous boat rides with the locals and an overall feel of the love the man who built this area up for his concubine had. Definitely worth the visit! Beautiful!
