With an interesting past, the Zhangzhou Confucian temple is well worth a visit if you are ever in Zhangzhou in Fijian Province. During the Cultural Revolution the temple was dismantled and tucked a way for several years. When all the commotion had died down, the temple was then restored to its former glory. Popular with locals as well as visitors, the temple boast fascinating architecture from a bygone era. Look to the heavens and you will see some finely crafted roof trusses and interesting tiling.
