I broke my sunnies so I needed new ones quick. I thought to try this market as close to my hotel and found 2 pairs I bought from 2 sellers. Price was 3 dollars and got another pair down to 2.75. so was pretty hard to bargain but the price seemed fair enough anyway. Very small market though.

I'm male and it's a market. But most night markets are interesting. Those in Malaysia were awesome. Others are full of wonder and smells of exotic spices.

This sells clothes and sun glasses.

not interesting . Very little waste of time.It is free, but does not offer interesting things and there are few street restaurants at the end. More to the locals.

Few stalls were available selling local food and some stalls were selling clothes.

Not many choices but they offered Muslim food and they were able to speak Malay too.

We went there during raining season, tables were available but no roofing so we got wet a bit when it rained after we had our meal.

This place had another name “Borkor Night Market”.

I went to Kampot night market with my friends last November 2017. Mostly they sell clothes, foods etc. you have to pay for motorcycle parking before you can enter to kampot night market. not so many attractive things that you can see here, quiet boring actually.

Kampot Night Markets, on the Durian roundabout is not worth going.

There are only a handful of shops and literally all of them sell clothes. Poor quality and cheap clothing that doesn't fit westerners.

It might be that the low season influenced it but I say 'save your money and shop in Siem Reap or Phnom Penh.

It's not a night market. More of a cluster of stalls that stay open late. It's popular with local teenagers. If you like overpriced street food and replica football shirts that can be bought for a lot less at the central market. Then this is the place for you.

We went through the Kampot night market directly at Durian square. There are only few cloth and food shops.

While the market is very small and the shopping isn't all that interesting for tourists, some of the food stalls are quite good. We had several meals at Sloppy John's because we liked the food a lot, the staff was really sweet, with fantastic English and the prices were excellent (0.75 for a smoothie? Yes, please!). We were nervous when we ordered the ribs, but they ended up being delicious, the best we'd eaten in a long time (though probably not quite as good as the sign advertises). The noodle stall next to it has great tasting pho broth and the actual pho stall puts good meat in their soup (but ordinary broth).

Local families get dressed up and come eat, shop and play so if people watching is your thing, you can spend an evening eating and drinking at one of the stalls and getting a taste of a small town Kmer family night out.
