We went on four days trip with Reini to the North Eastern parts of Cambodia, completely off the beaten tracks. Came across kind of indigenous people living deep in the jungles in small settlements, witnessed the deforestation problem in those isolated areas and bathed under waterfalls and in small streams. It was one of those trips we will talk about when we will tell stories to our children and grand children. Reini makes you proud you made this trip. Very recommendable.

I went with Reini on a day trip around the back roads of Mondulkiri, and all I can say is that it was a phenomenal experience! I've been riding motorcycles since my teens, but I'd never tried my hand with off-road dirt bikes. And what a way to get an introduction! The Mondulkiri hillside and valleys are absolutely stunning and the terrain is vastly different from the monotonous plains of the central districts in Cambodia. Coupled with the fact that Mondulkiri has numerous mountain trails and Reini's seemingly intimate knowledge of them, you're guaranteed to have an awesome time riding around on one of his Honda's! Reini is a very experienced rider and has been running these tours for a number of years in the region, so you'll get a chance to experience Cambodia from an entirely different perspective.

So if you like riding a motorcycle, exploring the backcountry, and experiencing an adrenaline rush while doing so, definetly don't miss the opportunity to ride with Reini while you're in Mondulkiri! You won't regret it!

If you want to visit the ‘true’ Cambodia, and experience it’s tradition and culture, away from the regular tourist spots, this is definitely the way to do it.
Reini offers customised tours on reliable and well maintained motor cross bikes, with the backup of a support vehicle.
Our trip included river crossings on the bikes by boat, ferry and even a canoe along the Mekong River, where we saw the fresh water dolphins, not too far downstream from the magnificent Mekong Falls.
We enjoyed friendly hospitality in a mix of different accommodation, including a tree top eco lodge, guest houses and a home stay with a local family.
And when you do take your pants off, a swim in the volcano lake in the Ratanakiri province at the end of a hot, dusty day of riding is a welcome relief.

Adventure Rider Asia! Adventure plus!
Thanks Reini for a fabulous trip.
Regards, Victoria, Byron Bay, Australia

Reini is equally passionate for the preservation of Cambodia's environment, as he is with delivering quality motorbike tours. Speaking perfect Cambodian (Khmer) is second nature to him, so you are sure to go off the beaten track. I went with my all of my uncles, and brothers, and one hardcore motor-cross aunty; 6 days along the east side of Cambodia, starting in Phnom Penh, and ending up in Siem Reap. Were we all challenged in some areas but just enough to get addicted to the adrenalin.
We will do round 2 in a couple of years for sure.

Mondolkiri is the most beautiful region in Cambodia and Reini is the one who makes it the most adventurous as well. His motorbikes and apparel are in very good condition and he is very good driver. And with Mondolkiris endless network of trails he can make the perfect trip for anyone from begginner to experienced driver. We spent just two days on motorbikes and this were the most fantastic days of our holiday. We got all we wanted - minortity villages, waterfalls, plantations, forests, dust, rocks, mud, big roads, small roads, narrow slippery trails, river crossings... and lot of fun with capital F:-) And all of this for most reasonable price! Thanks for all of this! Hope to come back for longer trip soon;-)

A group of us did a 7 day tour with Adventure Rider Asia riding from Mondulkiri to Siem Reap and it certainly lived up to the name. Cambodia went far beyond our expectations and overall we had a great experience. The bikes, routes and support were all fantastic and we came away with some great memories.
If I was to offer advice in order to help future travelers it would be as follows:-
i) When we booked the trip it was under the impression that all protective gear and clothing etc was inclusive however nearer the time of travel it turned out that a number of us would need to bring certain bits of gear ourselves, so make sure you clarify this in advance or be prepared for the extra cost.
ii) Stipulate your expectations when it comes to accommodation as we stayed in some places which were very basic. After riding all day in 40 degree heat and at one stage with 5 out of 7 of us hit by food poisoning, all you wanted was a comfortable bed and some air-con but instead found a hot room with a ceiling fan. Although this obviously had a lot to do with my final point...
iii) and that is that April is hot so be warned, if travelling for more than a couple of days it may be worth taking some talc for your bum ;)
So to finish, even if you only have time for a day or two in and around Mondulkiri, you're in for some cracking riding!

Hi Ian, Thanks a lot for your review and your great advise to others who wanna go on a ride with us. Very sorry that we couldn't offer you shoe size 48 as we told you way before the tour. This size is a very uncommon size for us and only one out of around 500 customer ever came and requested this size. So we would have bought a pair of boots for only one customer in 13 years and would have thrown them away perhaps as we often experience that a pair of boots we do not use for more than 2 years falls in parts. I hoped you understood this! I am sure you will find another time a use of this boots as you enjoyed off road riding a lot with us. I am very sorry too that a bunch of you guys ended up with food poisoning! This was the first time ever that a big part of a group had this issues! It was a very hot time of the year and a big problem for the locals to keep there food cold and eatable. I was not happy too that this happened. Usually food poising comes first from raw vegetables and fruits. Less from well cooked meat! You want believe but i have been sick after this trip too...for more than 3 weeks. ;-) Luckily we got some cool air condition rooms after everyone got hit by the food poisoning! ...and for sure we had a support vehicle with us where there was room for some guys weren't able to ride. I thought your bigger problem were your swollen feet. Anyway.... About the accommodation we offer, we are trying to offer a wide range of different accommodations, depending on the area we are going, the availability of different standards and the budget of our clients. In our full package tours we are having a budget for a mix of different accommodations. We are trying to give our clients some relaxing places after riding, sometimes some comfort but also bringing them closer to the locals and stay in home stays. We do not like hotel bunker on our tours! As some of our customer like to stay fancy in certain places like Siem Reap or Phnom Penh, before and after the tour, we like to let them book there rooms themself to enjoy this places. Again, Thanks a lot for your honest review! Kind Regards Reini

If you want to have a look at the real Cambodia, and can throw your leg over a motto cross bike, I would recommend Reini and his Adventure Asia Tours.Reini caters for novice to experienced, hard core riders. His bikes are well maintained, so not much down side except for the odd puncture. on this trip Reini supplied sweeper and support vehicle, which meant all participants could have fresh clothes each night. Accommodation and food was pretty damn good, especially in the home stays, in middle of nowhere. Always cold beer. This is the third tour I have been on with Reini, looking forward to the next one, Cardamoms in December.
