About
The Pig Pounder Brewery is named after a beer launched by the Darryl's restaurant chain in 1988. It is a local microbrewery specializing in producing outstanding authentic UK style beers including types like an Extra Special Bitter, an English Dark Mild, and a classic Milk Stout, for local venues. The brewery also features an interactive tasting room, made for connecting with our guests and educating them more about beer.

Great selection and super helpful staff. Had a couple of different beer and they were all good. We order burgers from Burger Warrior and it took almost an hour and they called to get our food delivered. My recommendation is to order from the food truck!!

My job had an after work gathering on Friday September 28 at Pig Pounder.
The bartenders were kind, friendly, and helpful. I tried several beers and with their guidance found a couple I liked. I highly recommend the Peach Slapped. It’s a lovely sour.
We had a cornhole tournament and enjoyed the food truck out back called Steak Out.
The venue was spacious. The bathroom had cool trendy painting and was well kept. The patio/deck out back has plenty seating with cool lighting.

My wife and I were in Greensboro this weekend for a concert at the colosseum. We had the day to kill, so, it's time to drink some local beers. The name intrigued us, so off we went. What a cool little place. We were there right at noon on a Sunday, so we had the place to ourselves which was perfect. We ran thru two flights of some seriously good beer. The names crack me up. Snout Stout, ESP (P for Pig), but the beer did the talking, their Brown was really good and they had an Elderberry that was dynamite. We're right down the road in Charlotte, but I've never seen it around here. I guess we'll have to go back!

As the craft brew scene is happily growing in the Triad, Pig Pounder has proven to be a complete disappointment! Anyone who enjoys craft beer should not waste their te stopping here. The people are fine, the atmosphere is so-so...the real problem here is the beer! We sampled all of them. They were all so weak in flavor and complexity that I suspect someone just starting to
Like beer would perhaps enjoy them. The only reason so many restaurants carry this very poorly done group of beers is because Kotis owns so many restaurants in town. True disappointment!

We visited the place only shortly, but it was clearly the best small brewery seen during our road trip on the east coast. The personell was very friendly and willing to add some extra character to the experience. The stories make the difference, but nothing to complain on the beer either. The brown ale was very pleasant, but I must also mention the specialities. Often small breweries fail in the experimental beers, and I was very positively suprised by the mystery flight including all the strangest beer tryouts. They were very well balanced to provide something totally different but still drinkable and fun.

Stopped in for a beer. We got two flights of 4 each. Liked all I tried. Really liked the barbieswine, it has a slight bourbon taste. Would be nice if they could have food.

The brewery has limited seating, but you aren't smashed together they caring not only their beers but some others too. The beers I tried from them were good none great. Draw back no food or food truck which makes longer drinking really not an option. Place is well keep with selection of games, yes boardgames to play. The friendly and knowledgeable staff make a fun experience. This is a great stopping place before moving to dinner or after dinner stop. Recommend giving it a try. You'll find a beer you like whether Pig Pounder or other.

This place had the most unique names of beers...it was so much fun! Jokes were written on the wall. You can do a mini tour of the brewery. There's also an old typewriter to type a message and post on the wall. It's just a really fun place to go and hang out with friends!!

Tap room of wonderfully made craft beers that extends into a relaxing game pavilion filled with amazing street art inside and out. Lots of fun!
