This place is tucked between a subdivision and a shopping center. We circled it, wondering if we were in the right place. There was no apparent dedicated parking so we parked in the shopping center and walked across the street. It was a very hot and humid day but when we stepped into the park everything changed. It almost had... More

First, let me say this is a beautiful park. However, it is not at all what we expected. It is less of a destination place for out-of-towners, and more of a respite from strip-mall world for Greensboro residents (or more particularly, residents of that neighborhood). We stopped by looking for a place to run the toddler before a long car... More

Great photography opportunities with native plant life, lake with ducks, the occasional swan and lots of play with reflections and shadows.

The bog garden is a peaceful haven of natural beauty in the heart of what is, after all, a city: shopping centers, neighborhoods, bustling traffic routes. Here, a visitor walks through a gentle riperian zone, home to critters of the earth, the water and the sky. Go quietly, and you'll catch a view...

Lovely boardwalks around pond and bog. Well built boardwalk with safe railings for little ones. Went late in the day and saw so many ducks and geese starting to roost for the night nd heard a couple of owls. Not a very big place but peaceful walk for a nice break. See my duck photos.

We loved the tree lined trail next to the water. It was a great escape from the heat on a summer afternoon. The ducks are fun to watch playing in the creek. At one end of the walk, the trees think out and you find yourself on a deck overlooking the water. It's really lovely

We visited Bog Garden after walking through the Tanger Bicentennial Park located across the street. I greatly enjoyed strolling through Bog Garden. The trees provide wonderful shade to walk under. I also appreciated the raised wooden walkway that gets you up above the ground. Bog Garden provides many opportunities for great picture taking. You can also enjoy some of the... More

I used this as a visit for a time to get away, clear my mind and relax. The trails are amazing and actually give you a nice workout! The animals are friendly and do not bother you. The mallard ducks and chipmunks were the ultimate highlight! If you are in the area, definitely stop by!!!

The bog garden is such a great place to relax for a while. The grounds are always well manicured and the scenery is picturesque. I had my wedding photos taken there and it made the perfect backdrop. One of my favorite places in Greensboro.

Lovely garden walk in middle of town but you think you're in the country. Easy access for casual walk on shady, flat wooden decking surface. Check out the duck families as they grow. Watch the chipmunks skitter along, crossing the paths. Adventuresome types can take dirt paths off the main path to explore hillside area. Beautiful lake. Interesting natural plant... More
