Great library with a nice children's area

This library is actually not far from where we live, so we go there fairly often. This library is very spacious with an upstairs and a downstairs and of course an elevator. One of... read more

This is the main library of the town located in downtown Greensboro. The building is nice, conference rooms neat and library area is spacious with easy layout. Staff is friendly, community bulletins and handouts are readily accessible. Training schedules are posted offering a variety of programs. I attended a genealogy class, the instruction was beneficial though limiting to geographical searches.... More

This Library is beautiful. The parking is a bit strange since you have the opinion to park in the garage but pay or park around the corner in a gravel lot and walk to the library. I choose to walk which was not bad just different. When you walk in you get a sense of how huge this library is.... More

I haven't spent much time, but this library is beautiful. They have a great children's area. They also have a lot of space and tables for studying/reading. They have many computers available as well for use.

My preschool aged daughter and I have loved this library since she was born! The children's section is large and sort of separated from the rest of the library so the kiddos can make a little extra noise without being disturbing to the other patrons. The storytime for kids is offered several times per week and is the perfect introduction... More

This is the Central Library, located in a beautiful looking building located on the edge of downtown Greensboro, NC. Unfortunately they do have limited resources, especially if you are trying to research issues in-depth. Their web-site is usually a bit out-dated and not refreshed as often as it could be, and their search-engine is cumbersome at best, including listing items... More

This library is actually not far from where we live, so we go there fairly often. This library is very spacious with an upstairs and a downstairs and of course an elevator. One of the things that we love about this library is the dedicated Children's area. In the children's area there's a lot of children's books and they also... More

This two story library is beautifully built and meets the needs of all ages. The second floor has stuff for adults and computers and quiet places to work. The main level is split in two with children's area with picture books, chapter books, computers, and fun places to read, and an adult area too. This library is downtown and has... More

Two floors, well stocked with learning materials, computers, books for every age and taste. The staff are very helpful and knowledgeable. It's quiet, like a library should be, but there are always lots of people inside, taking advantage of this great resource. If you've been without a good public library, as I was for many years, you'll appreciate one this... More
