This is a perfect park for so many things. Great for Walking/ running. Great for picnics. The re-enactment that they have are fabulous. And the museum is something everyone should stop and see at least once.

Very impressed with the videos that emphasize how important this battle was to the founding of our nation. See the short one first. It runs at :15 and :45. Then watch the long video that shows on the hour.

This location is a wonderful spot. It is close enough to many locations to be a day trip. It has numerous trails and great scenery. Well worth exploring and attending one of the many annual events.

Looking for an excellent walking park? Well this is it. Miles of trails along with history stops along the way make this destination one of the best parks around. Very natural but clean and safe. Almost too remote in places but always an adventure.

This is a historical park with great walking trails to get or stay in shape in. My nephews have participated in numerous sporting events and we've shared picnic lunches here.

This national military park is actually one of the hidden gems of Greensboro. We lived nearby for many years and visited it probably once a week at least. It is a well loved spot for walkers, joggers and bikers. There is no charge for admission....More

A non-commercial history lesson. Beautiful walk through the battlefield area. Be sure to see the movie and strategy exhibit. Wear your walking shoes and enjoy the beautiful Greensboro woodlands. You will never believe you are only minutes from downtown!

Two well done, interesting films about the importance of this battle in the Revolutionary War. The surrounding park is a lovely place to walk and get away from the city.

Just got your question. Hope this answer isn't too late. I spent about 30 minutes there since I teach US History and the staff was overly accommodating to me. There is a brief film and the outside buildings.

There are no picnic areas in the battlefield park out if respect. What the others here are referring to is called Country Park which is right next to the battlefield. There are short trails between them.

You can call 336-525-3009 and it will start the tour. It also sends you a link to the web site that was a little easier to use.
