Known for its massive annual plantings and bronze sculpture, this 7.5-acre garden is a popular and relaxing retreat. A Wedding Gazebo adds an air of elegance, a man-made re-circulating stream provides texture, movement and sound, and a Sensory Garden engages visitors in an interactive landscape experience. A variety of sculpture placed throughout the garden provides artistic and historic interest.

The garden is open year-round from sunrise to sunset. Admission is free.

This is a very well executed park, with many, many beautiful plantings. It has many unique theme areas and some really beautiful sculpture. The walkways area nearly all concrete walkways. Most of the walk ways are shaded, so even on a very warm day (92 today) you can have a comfortable walk. There is ample on site parking. The area... More

I live within walking distance, so this is a natural favorite. If nothing else, you will enjoy the interesting gardening groupings throughout, and the amazing metal art. Leave a prayer or note in the memory mailbox, or drop off or pick up a book at the exchange. This is dog friendly and I have met many interesting and friendly souls... More

A cool shady respite on a hot July day. Spent about an hour just taking in the beautiful flowers and surroundings. If you are looking for a quite peaceful "stroll in the park" this is it. Perfect photo ops to take pictures of the grandkids.

I've been here before and always enjoy returning. Well done, with interesting statues and great nature scenes. This property was previously owned by my grandfather and he'd be very proud and pleased with what's been done with it. Good parking and restroom facilities. Historical stuff to learn. Picturesque place for a wedding or just wedding photos. And even Pokestops!

We spent a Saturday afternoon roaming the pathways and gardens. I was looking for great plants to photograph but the teen in our group was chasing Pokémon characters. She wasn't alone. We saw dozens of visitors milling about, phones at the ready. People chatted with strangers about points and locations and even different flowers and art work. It was an... More

A very clean and well maintained park with loads of colorful flowers. They have neat rustic statues and garden ornaments located throughout. Lots of shaded area to walk through. We saw everything from avid runners, walkers, casual strollers, and senior citizens all enjoying their time here. Their bathrooms are also nice and clean. If you're looking for Bog Garden, the... Not only should Greensboro natives avail themselves of the jewel in the midst of the city that is the Tanger Family Bicentennial Garden, but it should be a destination in and of itself for surrounding nature lovers. This garden has two distinctive allures. First, the plantings, pairings, colors, statutes, scenic overlooks, birds, and flowing streams all combine to create a... More

Visited many times. Long winding sidewalks through the gardens. Perfect for Family or anyone. A large verity of native trees and plants. A Stream runs along the side of park.
