The Village Candle had hundreds (thousands?) of hand painted beautiful candles. The owner was very friendly and answered all of our questions about how the candles were made and painted. If you are looking for a candle, you could literally find anything you can imagine...More

The owner makes all of the candles by hand and was very friendly. He even gave us a really goo deal, now I have smoky mountain fragrances filling the house all the time. Great little local shop to visit.

Small shop with homemade candles, thousands of them. The more hand painted, the more expensive. It's like the 80s again. Right on the Parkway, part of the craft "tour", get a map to "collect them all".

On our recent visit to Gatlinburg we shopped at Village Candles. The store was neat, orderly and well stocked. The selection was very broad in the style, shape and size of candles that are available in the shop. We had been there in the past...More

Nice candle shop and very kid friendly. For 5 bucks your kids can hand dip a small candle. The shopkeeper is really patient with little kids and shows them how to dip the candles. Well worth it.

There were alot of decorative items but not any great soy candles or scents that I liked. No one even acknowledged us when we walked in they just kept talking to each other (I assume the owner talking to a friend).

We found out about this unique place by watching the welcome channel in our hotel as it focused on the arts district. We took a drive and found this quaint little place off to the side of the road. We entered this store with 3...More
