We enjoyed this as the otters were active, the raccoons were goofing around. The bears were typical lazy bears. I liked that you could see them so closely. This is something that is great that helps animals that cannot stay in the wild. This is...More

We're sorry you did not love the Wildlife Encounter. Tickets are not supposed to be shared because all of the money from the Wildlife ticket sales goes directly to the care and feeding of the animals. We have 5 black bears, 3 river otters, 2...More

I don’t have a problem with zoos but this one broke my heart. I know these animals were rescued and would not survive in the wild but to live in such despicable conditions makes it seem more like a prison. There were strange smells and...More

We're so happy you enjoyed the Wildlife Encounter! All of our animals are rescues and they are all native to the Smoky Mountains. We recently added two red foxes so we hope you'll be able to visit again soon and see them!
