This is a good hike for kids and one of only trails you can take your dog on in the Smoky Mountains park.

Had to hike back to the visitors center to check to see if anyone turned in my driver's license (lost somewhere at the center or Cataract Falls). Thank you Lord it was turned in! Traffic was too bad to try and drive back from our...More

We were looking for an easy and convenient hike near our place in Gatlinburg and this fit the bill. We have two teenagers and they thoroughly enjoyed the walk.. we counted 23 different dogs along the way .

I love this little trail, and start my long runs here everytime we visit Gatlinburg! While I use this trail as a 2-mile warm-up, running from the end of the main downtown strip and head towards the Nature Center, and then continue to Cataract Falls...More

Take the trail to one of the water falls - you won't regret it. Get a lottel exercise and see the wonders of God's creation!

Take a turn a traffic light 10 in Gatlinburg. Trail goes along the river and you can walk the 2 miles to Sugarlands Visitors Center if you want. Very relaxing just to enjoy the rushing river and woods. Why I love the Smokies.

Number of different trails of varying distance as well as difficulty. We had a large group (8 of us) and did a shorter one (1,3 miles). Scenery was breathtaking, level of difficulty was not bad. Strongly recommend using a walking stick to maintain balance. Take...More

This is a very easy trail. If you start at the trailhead at the end of River Road in Gatlinburg, it actually goes to the Sugarland Visitor Center. The wooded portion of the trail ends at the park maintenance facility... More

No. It's just a quick tour through some great nature sites. It can be fit in to a day of several activities. Be prepared for Cades Cove if you go. It's about 30 min drive to get there and then the drive through Cades Cove... More
