When you first walk in, it's a little overwhelming, but the helpful staff puts you at ease. It's not just jellies, it's relishes, butters ( apple, peanut etc.) so take your time.

We enjoyed our visit to the Jams and Jellies House. They have a huge selection of jams, jellies, fruit butters, syrups, and dressings. We decided to take home a half dozen jars ourselves. The staff member was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable.

If jelly is your jam, then man, do I have a plan. That plan being called "Go to Smoky Mountain Farms Jelly Barn!" It's got enough spreads and sauces and candies to handle anything related to those specific items. If the Jam-pocalypse ever happens you'll...More

We stopped here looking for a particular flavor of maple pecan butter I once picked up in Pennsylvania. They did not have it [and neither did any other shop in the area], but they DID have a wide variety of jams, jellies and butters. We...More

If the Jelly House is closed, you may easily purchase delicious goods at other locations. We recently bought preserves and jellies at the National Park Service at Sugarlands and at the Cades Cove Park Service building.

No, the sugar acts as a preservative and they can be simply wiped clean and kept in the pantry. Refrigerating them can cause them to granulate and they will not keep as long.
