Ripley's Haunted Adventure takes haunted houses to the next level. Live actors lurk behind every corner of this creepy renovated mansion, just waiting to "welcome" you to their home. That high pitched scream you hear...yea that's you. But remember...more
The guy working the front desk was rude as was the ticket taker. We had to go with a group of other people and ended up at the back of the single file line they make you get in. The scare was ruined when the...More

Thank you for sharing your review with us. We certainly appreciate your feedback!
This wasn’t scary at all. The end was ok. Only saw one staff member who we recognized as the guy who came out front when we were buying tickets and snapped at the ticket seller about something being closed. He’s also the same person who...More

Thank you for sharing your review with us. We certainly appreciate the feedback as we're always looking for ways to improve.
We happened upon Ripley’s Haunted Adventure when walking down the street in Gatlinburg. An actor who looked like a statute jumped out at us, and we definitely wanted to go in. There were probably 3 additional actors inside and lots of electronic scary stuff. It...More
Don’t underestimate this experience. Our seven-year-old couldn’t wait to go in and came out petrified. It’s fairly lengthy and the line was not too bad. Employees take it pretty seriously and sell it well. Worth the money.
We had a group of 7 with ages from 23-55. The experience starts with a ride up a cable car and the host giving you instructions. You walk through with your hand on the person in front of you because there are some dark places....More
This was the BEST haunted house I ever been to. At first, I was disappointed because you are not allowed to take any pictures. They also sell you these $2 flashlights which they suck for lighting. They can be used as a souvenir instead. As...More
The haunted house was lots of fun. A couple of actors were texting. Texting isn't scary. Might as well just have an automated haunt without actors. I always expect a lot out of every Ripley's attraction. This could have easily been much better.

There are several Ripley's attractions within walking distance of each other in Gatlinburg. Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum, Haunted Adventure, 5D Moving Theater, Mirror Maze, Mini Golf, and Guinness World Records Adventure to name most of them. It's best to travel to the Ripley's Aquarium and then bundle them together. The Aquarium + 3 more attractions is about $45 for adults and $32 for kids. They also offer a substantial discount for Active Duty and retired military. If you go to just the Haunted house it's about $13 for adults and $8 for kids.
Has anyone done this? Is it worth it? I saw Ripley's has several attractions in MB. I'm not sure if any of them are worth it other than the aquarium (we tend to visit the local aquarium of wherever we're visiting - so far nobody's is as good as the one in Baltimore's Inner Harbor). Thanks!

The museum is worth the money but kids may be a little bored by the exhibits. Don't even bother with the Ripley's 3D movies. Go to the IMAX theater at Broadway On The Beach instead. There's another 3D theater right across the street from Ripley's that may be much better. Anybody been there?

Ripley's Haunted Adventure - Halloween in July (1 Reply)
If anyone here is going to be in Gatlinburg for the week of July 9-15, I thought I would let you know that this event will be going on at the Haunted Adventure. I don't have many details, but supposedly they have some neat stuff planned (their press release mentioned a possible sleepover inside the house), and a special guest (I won't say who, but he's a famous horror star) will be there on the 13th and 14th. If anyone does this, please return with details- I wanted to go, but my vacation was...More
