Night ride is the best!

The ride was fun, it was a bit scary at first then you get use to it. There's a gift shop at the top were you can view your picture that was taken (there is a fee). The view from... read more

The ride was fun, it was a bit scary at first then you get use to it. There's a gift shop at the top were you can view your picture that was taken (there is a fee). The view from the top is beautiful we rode at night so we saw all the city lights The cost is 16.50 for... More

Not sure when the Sky Lift first started business, but I have a picture of my Mom riding it from the early 1960's. Local management is friendly and helpful. And the views from the top are, in my opinion, the best of Gatlinburg with Mount LeConte in the background. Great place to get some pictures both in the hues of... More

A bit pricy - but it takes you up to the top where you can get off the lift and walk around the little store they have up there - very nice view. They take your picture that you can buy for a pricy amount as well (but they did not tell us in advance that there would be a... More

An awesome view of area and especially once you get to the top. Lift is open so you are exposed to all weather but it is safe and fun. Buy a morning ticket and ride all day long. A wonderful evening view of town and we liked sunset time from the top. Take a few quarters for the zoom viewers... More

Overall: You can see alot once you get up there, but even with $2-$3 discounts from coupons per person, it's still kind of expensive ($16.99/person). This is one of those one-time attractions to say "been there, done that." Liked: The skylift went slow so you could enjoy the ride/view longer. You can get off at the top, stretch, buy a... More

I get very scared if my feet are not on the ground. The ride up was not that bad it was the ride back I didn't really enjoy. But when you get to the top it is very scenic and they have a like a little gem mine attached to the gift shop. Good fun for the kids.

If you are afraid of heights, go somewhere else. My wife did not like skilifts until we started skiing then she was commited to riding them, now she can do it without problems. The gift shop is nice.

Nice relaxing chair lift up the mountains for some terrific views of the city. Pricing is a little odd, $16.25 for adults as of last week. Best deal is $20 to ride all day. Make a few round trips and average your cost down.

I enjoyed this attraction. It looks like it will be a piece of cake from the ground. But when you are on the device it could be scary at first. My secret was I enjoyed the greenery and did not look at where I was or where I was going. Coming down was much better. The cost was reasonable and... More
