The views! The story! Must see!
We got the unlimited deal and rode up the mountain multiple times while spending the day in Gatlinburg. We started our morning at the park then ended with sunset, enjoying a drink with the views. The park story of recovery after wildfires is amazing and inspiring. The ticket building is currently under construction, but I’m sure it will be great soon.

Well worth the money. The ride up was smooth and easy. The ride back had great views. Loved it. The sky bridge was an easy walk (which surprised me). So much fun to cross the glass panels. The tulip tower was educational and amazing views. This is a don’t miss attraction! Be sure and buy tickets online to miss the line.

My family enjoyed this park. The line for the lift wasn't too long and it was a smooth ride. We enjoyed the bridge and I was pleasantly surprised with the Tulip tower that told the story of the rebuilding of the park after a devastating forest fire. It was expensive, though, and I felt like it needed one more attraction to justify the price.

We are eating this park 100 out of 100! Almost anyone would enjoy this experience. My 80 year old mom did great crossing the bridge! It’s clean and safe and you get some amazing views. We did the all day pass for an extra $3 and rode the lift up and down twice. Not crowded, they manage the tourists well. Loved this experience!

    Amazing views
The chairlift up the mountain is a very nice experience. It runs smoothly and gets you up the mountain in about 10 minutes. They will stop the chair for you to get off if you request it. There is a big viewing area where you can sit in rockers and just enjoy the views. The walkway is absolutely breathtaking. This is a must-do when in Gatlinburg.

    Sky Bridge did not disappoint.
Had to mark this one off the bucket list. Sky Bridge was amazing. The staff was very helpful and very friendly. I had my mother with me who is 75 yrs old so getting on and off of the skylift was a bit slower than normal. They stopped it for her, helped her on and off. The only problem was at the top, you have to walk up a steps to make it to the Sky Bridge. My mom decided it was too much for her so she sat in the chairs while I crossed the bridge. I think next time she will take her time and head up slowly, taking breaks to the top. The views from the top are amazing. You can see all of Gatlinburg from the top.

    Family adventure
We visited on the 4th of July and had tickets for the Fireworks event. It’s easy to board the lift and the ride up is slow and relaxing. They take your picture on the Skylift and you can purchase it at the top. The view from the Skybridge is breathtaking. The walk across is a little scary even if you’re not afraid of heights. The bridge moves and sways so this adds to the excitement of the experience. Once on the other side, you can walk the sky trail around and back or if your brave walk back across the bridge! This is definitely for families with teens. We ended the night riding the lift back down while watching the space needles fireworks’ show. Great memory.

Excellent!!! Absolutely beautiful views. Fun for nature lovers who have had enough of having to hike up everything else. Ride to the rope and enjoy! The adventure minded can cross the bridge while everyone else has a beer and some snacks.

    Stunning views…for a price
This was a fun activity with spectacular views of Gatlinburg and the surrounding mountains. The Skybridge (once you’re up the mountain) offers even more incredible and unobstructed views! The only reasons we aren’t 5-stars are the cost and the staff at the top of the lift when we rode. Specifically, one of the men yelled at my husband, then loudly complained to a colleague who responded “just 1 more hour, my friend) as we walked by her. Also, be prepared for an immediate attempt to sell you a photo as you exit the lift (felt a bit like cattle herded for auction). Other than those distractions, we enjoyed this experience very much.
Thank you so much for leaving a review, BeautifulWorld479! We apologize for the inconvenience, and this matter will be passed to the appropriate personnel on staff. Thank you so much for visiting, and we hope to see you again in the future!

First and foremost, if you are going here during a busy time you should buy your tickets online a day ahead of time. This saved us one line that was running 45 minutes to an hour. There is still a line to get your bracelets after making the purchase online but it was probably only a 10-15 minute wait. There's not a lot of signage or information to tell you what to do when you get there with your online ticket vouchers and you can't just walk up to the window because it is corded off.

Once you have your bracelets you have another line to wait on to board the lift. For us it was about a 25-30 minute wait. I may have been able to climb the hill faster on foot.

It was very crowded when I was there so there weren't really any good photo opportunities on the sky bridge itself. You kinda felt like you needed to get on, march across, and turn around and come back. There also isn't much to do up there besides look down at Gatlinburg and cross the bridge.

We were advised to go up once during the day and once after dark since your ticket buys you all day access but after experiencing the lines the day we were there it would not have been worth it.

For the price, I probably wouldn't do it again. Expect to invest a good chunk of time out of your day if you go when they are busy.

The overall reviews on this are generally good and are experienced with no different. The views are excellent and the swinging bridge is a nice new attraction. However the price of nearly $25 a person is just too high. It was just my wife and I and for 50 bucks I think we could have enjoyed that somewhere else. It would be hard to justify a family of four going up for $100. The ride is only a couple minutes long and while you can spend as much time up there as you like and ride unlimited times the fact is you probably won't ride more than once.

We were able to get in line and get on the ski lift pretty quickly, but I really don't think it is worth the amount you pay to go up to the park. The ski lift looks very intimidating, but it was a pretty smooth ride. We went during the holidays and the Sky Bridge was decorated with pretty lights. I definitely recommend going at night because the view of Gatlinburg from the bridge is very pretty. The only reason I say it is not worth the price is because you ultimately get to the top of the mountain and walk across the bridge. There are fireplaces set up and a gift shop, but it was very busy so we did not stay long at those places. The view was great, but I don't think I need to ever do it again.

These idiot's need to get on the same page.. 1 person tells you that you can skip the line and then the next says you need to wait.. we've been coming here every year for 6 years with this and many other reasons we won't be back..

If you know what day you are going you can get tickets online for a couple dollars less..

This attraction has the potential to be very good; however, at this point you simply take the chairlift up the small hill and then walk across the bridge and turn around and walk back. The advertisement says there is a trail that walks around the mountain, but this apparently is not open. The cost for a family of four was over $110.00. For that cost, I would spend your money and time at Anakeesta (which is also located in Gatlinburg). Anakeesta is fully developed and has enough to do and see for several hours at minimum.

Unfortunately, based on what is completed at SkyLift Park and what the future plans they have listed, this attraction will never be worth the value of the cost of a ticket. The glass portions of the bridge are interesting, but does not make it worth the money.

The best thing about the Gatlinburg Skylift Park was paying one price that allowed us to go up there all day. We first went up to the mountains during the day. The town and the Skylift Park was decorated for Christmas. We went again at night and had a completely different, wonderful experience. Sitting around the firepit sipping cocoa was wonderful. My young adult children enjoyed the many great photo opportunities available both day and night. Since our trip was during COVID it was nice to see how everything was sanitized, mask wearing and social distancing rules were followed.

You would be challenged to spend more than 0.5 hour on the top. There is a small terminal at the end of the ride, with 3 observation terraces with chairs (there are no towers). You can walk the bridge in both directions, and that's pretty much everything. On the other side of the bridge, there is observation deck and few vending machines, nothing more. The place now is also a construction site, where more paths and roads are built, and that activity disturbs the whole experience. The ride with the lift is just 5 min each direction, and costs 25$. The parking belonging to the SkyLift charges 15$ flat rate (there are several cheaper ones on the other side of the front street, along the Historic Nature Trail, 10-5$ range, cheaper with the distance, but all in short walk range). I found the whole experience overpriced and limited.

My husband and I were in Gatlinburg and decided to go to SkyLift Park and go across the bridge. It was an excellent activity that most anyone can do unless you are averse to heights. There are several levels of landscaping and seating at the park was abundant with the most comfortable gliding Adirondack chairs I've ever sat in - I wish I knew who the manufacturer of these chairs is so I could purchase a couple for home. If you don't want to cross the bridge, you have a comfortable place to sit with spectacular views. There is also a fire pit for warming.

They have a building with restrooms, a souviner shop, snacks and on the upper level, seating with garage-door style windows that can be open in warm weather. There are photos of the park both before and after the fire that are very interesting. They also salvaged and have on display the flag that flew over the park during the fire.

One of the best parts is that we had unlimited access all day. We purchased our ticket just before lunch and went up an additional three times, the last time just prior to closing. Each trip was different and the night trip was beautiful as their Christmas lights as well as lights in Gatlinburg were still up and glowing. Plan for the weather as the temperature and wind can be different at the top of the park than at the bottom where you begin your chair lift experience.

They have made some changes since the last time we went there which was nice. Previously there was just the Skylift that took you to the top of the mountain where you could look over the mountains and there was a small store up there.
They have now added a Sky Bridge that you were able to wal across the mountains to get to another area. For those with a fear of heights it is very high and it does sway with the wind and the people on it. Once you get to the middle of the bridge there are 6 (I believe) glass panels that you cross over.
It was a nice experience.
We have been to the Skylift many times before and this is the first time we were told we were able to ride it more than once for the price. They said you can ride it until 10pm. I wish I would have known this years ago since it is pretty pricey.

I have terrible fear of heights but was bound and determined to see what all the conversation was about. It didn't disappoint! The line was long around the time it was getting dark but moved efficiently so the wait wasn't too bad. Social distancing was not an option but most were wearing mask and were respectful of personal space. A little black bear was snacking half way up the mountain so it was a fun treat for everyone riding the sky lifts before it got dark. The view from the observation desk was spectacular at dusk and then once it was dark. We made it across the bridge, but do note it shakes a lot so be prepared for that. I was just glad it was dark when we got to the glass middle but other than that it was a great experience. They have seating area through out to just sit and enjoy the views. Only con was the crowd was large and they need better way to have a line for going back down the mountain without others having to weave through that to get to the stairs up to where the bridge starts. Other than that I highly recommend at least once.
