My husband and I were told tonight that we couldn't purchase tickets due to maintenance and it would be shut down for a couple of months, I was a little bummed. Other than that it was a great trip.

We purchased tickets before our trip and we fell in love. The tickets gave you a daytime pass and then to return at night. We spent a lot of time up there, especially at night looking at all the lights and stars. Try it and...More

The arcade was great! We had fun and there is a huge selection of games. The prizes are good and not just cheap crap. We had fun playing the different things abd it wasnt very crowded.

It was foggy and a bit rainy the day we went but the view was still spectacular. It is the star spot for photos of the Gatlinburg Area. Check for coupons in Gatlinburg brochures or travel guides. You can usually get a few dollars off....More

Our group got a discount on our tickets since we had attended a show in back of the Space Center Arcade. The view was wonderful. It was nighttime and the lights were so beautiful in Gatlinburg and on the mountain. It was very cold outside...More

You can see all of Gatlinburg from up there. Its a great attraction. Its been there for a long time and its right in the middle of the strip in Gatlinburg. Its a little oudated but still worthwhile. Try it and see.

The space needle is a great place to visit if you don't mind heights. The view is phenomenal and breathe taking. It's also a little scary, could definitely use some renovations. The floor had holes in it and the elevator felt like it could break...More

When we went in June of 2018, it cost $10.95 for adults, and $5.95 for children. You do get two admissions per ticket. The theory is you can go up during the day, and then return to see the city at night.

Sorry I have not been there for New Years Eve. Only in the summer time and Thanksgiving. Night life in Gatlinburg is not like big cities. All their restaurants close before 11:00 p.m. No night clubs really.

I would say yes, after you reach the top you can stay on the platform , or sit in the benches and enjoy it. You see both ways on the main street of Gatlinburg.
