I have been visiting Ober Gatlinburg for decades now. My Mom and Grandma used to bring us here as kids. I returned with my husband through the years to ice skate and visit the Wildlife Encounter. Now we bring our own children to experience some...More

We took the Aerial Tramway up to Ober Gatlinburg and the views from that were amazing. Then we took the lift to the top of an even higher mountain. The views from there were even more incredible and there is a lookout area at the...More

We did not realize that you cannot ride the car up, stay on board, and ride the car back down. You must disembark from the car at the top. We went during a holiday, so we knew it would be busy. We waited in line...More

Might have been more fun for families with little kids. The alpine slide was pretty fun the second time we rode it; the first time they sent us down too close to the people in front of us. Husband was injured on the mountain coaster....More

Actually, you can - if you don't mind it getting a bit wet. There are three water rides. Only one got us a bit wet. The other two - only a very little. My purse got a bit damp, but was fine.

They usually don't start making snow until after Thanksgiving. Last October it was up in the 90's!!! You just never know around here what the weather will do.
