If you have kids there is lots to keep them busy. The views are spectacular. The food, not so much. Eat before you go, unless you want fudge.

There are so many things to do. The Alpine SLide has been a personal favorite of mine for years and when I found out I was going to Gatlinburg for Business I made it a point to be on the alpine slide. I also rode...More

We rode the aerial tram close to closing time. We rode up at about 8:15pm and they closed at 9pm. It was $13 per person and you get to ride it unlimited times for the day you buy the ticket and the following day. We...More

Overall the experience was just ok. When you arrive at the top (after standing armpit to armpit with others in the cable car) you arrive at an outdated building that smelled musty and had old shops with junk in them. The mountain coaster was fun...More

Overpriced and overrated. Tram ride is nice - but no need for the folks taking pictures to clog up the line for those who could care less. Really - get out of the way! Workers are rude - really if you don't want a job,...More

Ride the highest point of the mountain in downtown Gatlinburg. Right now see the fire devastation from the gondola ride. See the town from above. On top there is all sorts of things to do. Lines are long but it moves.

You can take a purse with you on all the rides at Ober Gatlinburg except the mountain coaster. I am not positive about the water slide but lockers are available. Also, shoes with straps must be worn on the mountain... More

Actually, you can - if you don't mind it getting a bit wet. There are three water rides. Only one got us a bit wet. The other two - only a very little. My purse got a bit damp, but was fine.

They usually don't start making snow until after Thanksgiving. Last October it was up in the 90's!!! You just never know around here what the weather will do.
