Great local winery

Came here as part of our own wine tour of the area. Probably the most reasonably priced wine of the area. In my opinion, also some of the best choices for us dry wine fans.

Best place to purchase wine. They don't have a large variety like the newer wineries, but you can sample some of their delicious wines! The other wineries are way over priced.

We come back every year to buy a case of their raspberry wine. It is the best raspberry wine we have ever tasted, and my husband's all-time favorite wine.

Stop by if you are in the area, but I would go out of my way to visit. The wine selection was limited. They mainly had sweet wines.

We made a special effort to visit this winery. We parked downtown and then walked a little over 1/2 a mile to go to this winery. It was nothing special and no tours. Don't get me wrong, the wine was good, but the store was the same as almost every other winery and the folks there were just mediocre. They... More

I had to think about how I put this - don't get me wrong the spot is quirky and the samples are free - but seriously, this isn't wine you might drink with dinner unless dinner is a half pound slab of cheesecake. The 'dry' wines are mediums, the mediums are sweet and I daren't even touch a sweet one.... More

The older lady that works there had no personality and seems to come across really rude. The wine was good and inexpensive but not worth dealing with the rudeness!

Smokey Mountain Winery is truly a treasure. The people there are extremely helpful and so nice! The selections are superb and reasonably priced. The interior of the place makes you feel just like you are in old wine country. Very, very inviting. I would recommend this Winery over any moonshine or wiskey place!

With all the hype of all the new moonshine distilleries and wineries in Gatlinburg - this is the original place to go for a sample on Gatlinburg wine. Relaxed, laid back (we may have gone on an off day). Neat gift shop and excellent staff.

When u walk in its like stepping back in time to a winery. We enjoyed our first wine tasting here years ago and the BlackBerry is our favorite. It's worth the stop.
