Having been to every other winery in Gatlinburg over the years, I figured I would stop by this one since they claim to be Tennessee's oldest winery.
The store was very modest, and the only employee there - an older woman, I didn't catch her name - was there to greet us albeit a little curtly.
During the tastings, the lady was helpful in guiding us to what we might like the most, but she had an attitude to her. Came off very pretentious and snobby. Rudely corrected me on the pronunciation of various words (some of which she was wrong about,) and felt the need to condescendingly explain things to us when we made a comment, as well as talking trash about all the other local wineries.
Overall, the wine was okay but the customer service felt lacking. The employee was overall very negative and hampered our experience. If they didn't sell regional or specialty wines like muscadine or raspberry we wouldn't have bought anything. Somewhat pricy too.
Stop by if you like those kinds of wines, but generally not worth going out of your way.

We visited all of the local wineries, and this one has the best pricing by far, and in our opinions, the best wines as well. This is the ONLY winery that has good dry wines. This is a bit off the main route for most people, but if you like good wine, be sure to make the effort to visit. The lady who was working was a bit crusty, but don't let that put you off.

The staff at this winery was very helpful. My husband and I really enjoyed tasting so many of the delicious wines. We bought 12 bottles. This winery is off the main strip but very conveniently located.

The lady let us try whatever wine we wanted and they didn't charge extra if you wanted to try as many wines as you wanted to, which was nice to help make the decision and gave us more money to spend wine on. She was an older lady who was very sweet and patient with us, and even shared her own experiences with the wines. Cheapest wine and most delicious compared to those on the strip. This little winery is a hidden Gem 💎

Found this winery last year; finally ran out of their Muscadine Red; just had to make the 5-hour drive back to purchase more along with some Muscadine White. This little winery is a GEM! And Jessica is a sweetheart!! They have a small gift shop here, too but, after all, we all come here for the wine, right? And their Muscadines, my favorite, are just top notch. The place just has the feel and ambiance of a little castle perched at the top of the drive. This is a must-stop whenever we are in this area.

Great prices and off the beaten path. Worth it! Great Sangria. Luckily we have been often enough to know what we like! Hope tastings will return soon.

Does this winery offer food and if so, to what extent? Could we have dinner here?

Hello I bought multiple bottle varieties a few years ago and we enjoyed them all. We purchased one that a friend is requesting. He said it had a hint of grapefruit... Could you please advise which bottle this may have been and do you still have in stock?

Just in general, that wine sounds like a Sauvignon Blanc.

I've always purchased wine in Gatlinburg, I do not believe they ship.
Is it free to tour ?

There isn't a tour like in other wineries, but you can taste all there wines, ask questions about there history and how they make there wines. I would call also to ask if they have tours to see how it's made.

I believe they are open seven days - probably open late morning, not sure so call prior to going. Have gone at various times and never a problem. At certain times of the year they may be out of some wines but that just makes you come back! I would think the month of October would be a busy, busy time.
