I took my 8 yr old son horseback riding for the first time and he was extremely nervous. Our tour guide Ronnie was excellent with him and made him forget all about his nerves. It was a wonderful experience and he was ready to do it again once we were finished. We even got to see 2 bears!

My husband and two daughters (12,14) went on the 1.5 hour ride. It was awesome! Great views... saw a bear who was digging at a bee hive. Made a bit of a mess for the rest of us to ride through angry bees, but the horses did fine. I would suggest wearing jeans and old shoes. There are flies and... More

We had a blast horseback riding. It was an experience my husband and I will never forget. We were truly riding on a mountain trail. I will say that I probably would not but a child under 10 on the trail. It was pretty intense in a few spots. Our guide was great! We saw a bear cub on the... More

Be aware: They weigh adults and don't allow over 225 pounds. My husband and I took the first ride of the morning, a 1 hour ride. Pros: The price was reasonable. The horses we rode were well-behaved and sure-footed. The trail was through the national forest. We crossed a couple of streams, and were in the trees the entire time.... More

We enjoyed the day riding and talking with all on the trip. This was a get together with family on a day trip to Gatlinburg.

This was such a great experience! I was so impressed with the the skill and knowledge of our tour guide. He was entertaining and charming. He also told great stories. The horses were well trained and calm. My family isn't experienced with horses at all but our guide made me feel totally confident that he could control any situation. We... More

Great, professional, friendly staff who cared for our novice-rider family. Wonderful and beautiful way to see the park.

This place was great! The ride was so much fun and our guide was great! The horses were very gentle and followed in a straight line on the trail. A very fun ride in the mountains; it was fun taking the horses up and down hills and through little streams! An experience I won't forget and would definitely do again... More

Decided to take the family horseback riding. There are many stables to choose from. I chose sugarlands because I thought it would be neat to be in the actual park. And it is. However, here is why I only gave 3 stars (and you may very well like this). The trail goes straight uphill the first half and downhill the... More
