About
The Gatlinburg SkyBridge is the longest pedestrian cable bridge in North America, and it is located at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. In order to cross the 680 foot record breaking bridge, you will need to get an admission ticket to the SkyLift Park and ride the yellow chairs to the top of the mountain. The SkyBridge also has 30 feet of glass panels in the middle of the bridge where you can peer 150 feet down to the ground below. The SkyBride is roughly 500 feet above downtown Gatlinburg, and 1,800 feet above sea level. From the SkyBridge, you can see unmatched views of the Smoky Mountains, the 3 highest peaks in the Smoky Mountains, and the entire downtown parkway of Gatlinburg. The SkyBridge has been featured on numerous national news outlets such as CNN, NBC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, ABC World News, Fox News, Yahoo, People.com, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Southern Living, and more!

    STUNNING!
Definitely a great experience! The staff are courteous and very helpful. The way up on the SkyLift was definitely terrifying for me (fear of heights) but the view at the top is SO worth it!! We enjoyed walking across the skybridge too. We felt very safe the entire time, especially as they had staff watching to make sure no one broke any rules. Great experience!
Thank you so much for leaving a review, Anna S! We are so pleased to hear you had such a great experience with us! Thank you so much for visiting the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park, and we hope to see you again in the future!

    Great views!
We quite enjoyed the suspension bridge! The views from the bridge are beautiful! The glass bottom is fun! We purchased our tickets online the day before. That meant skipping the ticket line and we could go more than once. We went in the morning and then we went hiking. Came back to enjoy again after 7PM and then went to dinner!

Best views in all of Tennessee!
If you’re traveling to Tennessee, this is a MUST stop on your trip. Ticket purchase is good for the entire day, so you can come and go as you please as you explore the cute bustling town of Gatlinburg. You ride a lift to the top of the mountain (little scary tbh) where you’re greeted by friendly staff, a gift shop with snacks and refreshments inside, and all the SkyBridge amenities. You have the option to walk across the SkyBridge (beware of the short span of bridge with see-thru glass flooring near the middle) or walk along the mountain side on the paved trail. Either way, you’ll get breathtaking views that are absolutely priceless!

    Smokey and Worthy!
Amazing! If you are visiting smokey mountains for a short period of time then visit the skypark. It has everything in one. Like a complete package. Skylift, Skytrail, Skycenter, Skydeck! You can have a breathtaking view from here and also learn a lot about it’s history.

    Nice Views
My wife, grand daughters and I enjoyed the ride up the mountain and the scenery at the top. It was very warm the day that we went so I would recommend going in the spring or fall. I thought it was a little pricey too plus they charged $5 per bottle of water at the top. It was a good one time experience.

    Great View
We went back in 2019 and decided to go again this year. The price has really gone up it was $56 for 2 in 2019 and it was $84 this time. You can stay up there as long as you want too . Go early before it gets hot. Cause the chairlift is totally in the sun and so is the bridge. It wasn't as scary the second time around. You can see all of Gatlinburg from up there. BEAUTIFUL!!!

The Skybridge was a fun experience. The attendants who helped people get in the ski lift were very accommodating for my mom and cousin who are elderly. The views of the city and mountains are gorgeous. We were there at sunset which was beautiful. There is plenty to do up there, the bridge and the sky trail. It was very relaxing to sit in the rocking chairs and just look out at the mountains. I would not go back just because I have now done it once but I think it is worth doing at least once.

    Definitely worth the trip
Saw this on Instagram. We were traveling cross country so we decided to spend a couple days in Pigeon Forge/Gatlinburg.Definitely worth the trip. We bought tickets the day before so they were less. We were the first ones on the lift, as we were going up we saw a black bear. Got up to the top and across the bridge we went, before it got crowded. What a feeling. Oh and the views are unbelievable. Absolutely amazing. Make sure to do the skytrail, tulip tower and the skydeck. We had the all day pass, so we went back later in the day too. Views were still amazing

    Amazing view of Gatlinburg
It’s a bit pricey, but worth it. My wife and I went on a whim, and couldn’t be happier with our decision. You start out in downtown Gatlinburg then you travel up the mountain in a ski-lift to the bridge and tower. We went during the day which enabled us to see the entire landscape that surrounded us. Photos aren’t enough you have to experience this yourself. My wife and I also were rewarded with an unplanned surprise. We saw a bear when we were traveling over the sky bridge! There are activities for those that want to take your time and plenty of places to lounge around and soak it in. My wife’s side of the family is trying to do a get together vacation, and this will be one of our recommendations because it gives you an unforgettable view of Gatlinburg.

We had an amazing time. The Bridge captain Shannon was amazing. Very respectful Kind courteous! Great personality! And was so thoughtful & helpful!! He knew a lot about Gatlinburg’s history. Very professional and presentation was a 5 star service. Meet as a stranger. Left as a friend. We wish everyone was as kind as Him. This word sure would be a better place ! We enjoyed the view at night. And really enjoyed the nature view bridge! The rockets at the top was a plus! Recommend going earlier. We didn’t have much time. Got there to late. Definitely one of our fav spots. Sure to be back.

We made a spur of the moment decision to take the chair lift to the sky bridge. We enjoyed it so much! If you can plan ahead you can purchase tickets 2 days in advance for a reduced rate. After we rode the lift up, walked the bridge, snapped a bunch of pictures we enjoyed a drink from the bar on the top floor and then sat outside and as night came, the lights below came to life. Such a pretty view and we were looking directly into a classic “smoky” cloud. We enjoyed chatting with some other patrons there as well. Definitely recommend spending the money to go!

We visited the SkyLift and SkyBridge in the evening.

The bridge was a fun experience and very pretty lit up for Christmas. An added bonus was seeing people's reactions when they were nervous about crossing the bridge.

The majority of the bridge is not see through, with the exception of a small area in the middle.

At night time (when we were there) the glass portion of the bridge loses its effect since you can't see anything below the bridge but it was still worth the visit for the breathtaking views of Gatlinburg.

My one caution would be that while in line there was zero social distancing and many people were not wearing masks. For this reason I would recommend avoiding during peak times as this did not appear to be something management was concerned about.

Overall a cool experience. I'd like to go back again sometime during the day.

On the day we chose to go up to the Sky Bridge it apparently was a busy day. We had a long 45-minute wait just for tickets to the Sky Lift. Then when we got almost to the ticket area, after waiting about 30 minutes we see a sign that says it will be cash only. It’s a good thing we had enough cash so we would not have to get out of line to try to find an ATM. We did try to buy tickets online earlier for the discount, but the system would not let us do that either.
We did do the pre-trip group pictures which actually turned out beautifully. The ride up was beautiful. We did encounter a couple of grounds workers who were quite grumpy about their jobs on the way up. Once up on the top we saw beautiful views and there were some chairs and tables to sit if you wanted to. It was pretty crowded, but people were wearing masks and trying to distance appropriately. Once we climbed the stairs to reach the sky bridge we cross to the other side. It’s definitely worth the walk.
We even got to watch the “Flyers” walk the tight rope line across. There was less of a wait on the way down. It’s definitely worth the money and the wait time for this entire attraction.

No one told me about the glass part of the bridge you had to walk across!!!! $25.oo per person, bracelet for use all day and night, unlimited trip. Get there first thing in the morning, line up, ride up, view, come down, then later that evening go back up to see the lights of the town. There are plenty of picture opportunities. They even take your picture on the way up and you can get it at the top when you come off the lift. We were there at Christmas, and they have everything decorated to beautifully! There is a small snack bar at the top, and they even serve cold beer and hot chocolate. The ride is priced kinda high, but the views are uncomparable. One of those been there, done that, take it off your to-do list.

You need to take a ski lift up the mountain to get to the Sky Bridge. It was a lot colder and it was very windy at the top, so dress warm! The view was beautiful from the top. the bridge was VERY shaky and in the middle of the bridge, you have to walk over glass (see the ground), that was very hard to do for several people on the bridge with us. You can see the damage from the fire a couple years ago on the mountain. You can buy snacks and coffee/hot chocolate up top. There is a beautiful place to sit outside before/after going onto the bridge. I will say there were more steps than we thought there would be, so this isn’t wheelchair assessable and would be hard for someone that couldn’t walk up/down about 3 flights of stairs. It costs about $50 for two adults to go up the ski lift and to be able to go out onto the Sky Bridge.

The skybridge was kind of scary to me but I did go across it. Since I have done it , I don’t plan to do it again but it was a once & a life time event for me.
I never looked down while walling across the bridge. Mist people loved it & some were really scared. I worried about so many small children walking across it.
We went during the holidays so it was crowded. They are very organized so although the line was long, it only took less than an hour to ride the skylift & walk across bridge & back.
It was about $50 for the two of us.

Very pricy attraction with not a lot to offer. Chair lift and the bridge had great views but the costumer service was terrible. The chair lift shut down while our party was in line to go back down the mountain and we waited over an hour in line for it to restart. A bus came to pick up a small group of people and then chair lift was restarted. Employees were non informative and people lost their place in line multiple times due to no instruction and disorganization from employees. When asking for compensation the employees were extremely rude. We were told we could not get a refund or even a partial refund. Would not recommend this attraction.

This was crowded but the line moved fast and for the most part, people were masking and distancing as much as possible. Great amenities at the top with snacks, drinks, bathrooms. The bridge itself is terrifying and fun and has fantastic views. Pre-paying for the digital pics when you buy the attraction tickets for an extra $2 is worth it!

First, let me address the complaints at the cost of this attraction. The tickets are on-par with similar Gatlinburg attractions. Second of all, you know the price before you buy the tickets.
The tickets are good for the entire day, so you can go in the day and at night for one price.
The bridge is breathtaking. I'm terribly afraid of heights, but the bridge feels completely safe and has multiple side wire barriers. In the middle of the bridge is a large glass panel. There is no way to avoid walking over it, but you can always turn around and go back or walk over it without looking down. I really enjoyed the glass bottom and it offers you a great view down the mountain.
The staff were friendly and helpful. They offer snacks and drinks. This attraction is appropriate for all ages.
The only drawback was the lack of bathrooms. They only had three open stalls for women, as one was not operational.
Overall, a must-do attraction in Gatlinburg!

I have made this trip up the mountain a few times in the past but this was my first time with the new facilities and with the sky bridge. We went mid morning. It was a very cold day so we were more than happy to pay the $2.99 for coffee when we reached the top. Loved the views from the bridge but there are many other places to get better views of the mountains. However, this trip was worth the money and a nice experience. We went again, with the same one day wrist band, after dark. Beautiful views of the Gatlingburg area and of the winter feast lights. It was fun to be able to cross the bridge and look down through the see through panels. I say two and done because I do not feel the need to do this again.
