About
The Gatlinburg SkyBridge is the longest pedestrian suspension bridge in North America, and it is located at the Gatlinburg SkyLift Park. In order to cross the 680 foot record breaking bridge, you will need to get an admission ticket to the SkyLift Park and ride the yellow chairs to the top of the mountain. The SkyBridge also has glass panels in the middle of the bridge where you can peer 150 feet down to the ground below. The SkyBride is roughly 500 feet above downtown Gatlinburg, and 1,800 feet above sea level. From the SkyBridge, you can see unmatched views of the Smoky Mountain range, the 3 highest peaks in the Smoky Mountains, and the entire downtown parkway of Gatlinburg. The SkyBridge has been featured on numerous national news outlets such as CNN, NBC World News Tonight, CBS Evening News, ABC World News, Fox News, Yahoo, People.com, Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, Southern Living, and more!

Overpriced, nice view
Jun 2021 • Couples
Overpriced experience. The view is nice, but similar views can be seen for free in the national park. I enjoyed the skylift. The skybridge is ok, but it's not spectacular. They take your picture twice and give you the option to buy them. There are bathrooms and snacks available at the top.

Look straight ahead!

Once at the top, great views! When you walk on the bridge, it moves slightly but not too much. When you walk over the clear part, just look straight ahead if you get nervous. That helps. Everyone should do this at least once.

Wonderful views of Gatlinburg! Absolutely amazing experience!! Even our two special needs teens were able to accomplish this. It's a must see and do experience!

Not what I expected
Dec 2020
The bridge was not was I was expecting for my money or for the actual bridge itself. The glass part of the bridge was very small and it was over-packed, it felt like they didn't control the number of people on the bridge at once. It was very difficult to get a good photo due to the number of people on the bridge. Save your money an go sowhere else.

Beautiful
May 2021
What can you say about a sky bridge. The chair lift ride up the mountain was very relaxing. The walk across the bridge was beautiful. A must see place. When you purchase your ticket you can ride chair lift up to the bridge as many times as you want. We went back at night and the view is spectacular.

Great views
May 2021
Went here over Memorial Day weekend. Thought the price was a bit high for what is offered, but the views at the top and from the bridge were pretty incredible. It looks like they are adding more to the park, so perhaps it will be a better value for the cost in the near future. It is a suspension bridge so it does move as people walk on it and there are glass panels to walk over in the middle of the bridge. Also, your ticket purchase is good for the whole day so you could go up more than once if you wanted. I went in the morning and had no wait but by the early evening the lines were insanely long to go up.

We did see a couple getting married on the bridge which was really fun, too!

Expensive
May 2021
I thought it was quite expensive for what there is to do. $24.95 per adult to ride ski lift up to where the skybridge was. Spouse walked the bridge until the glass segment turned around and came back. The bridge does move slightly, per spouse. I did not go as I have a fear of heights. I have been on another large suspension bridge and it did not go well.

This was fun.
Apr 2021
I loved walking across the skybridge and the glass segment was fun! I would not recommend it for anyone that has a fear of heights. The bridge does move slightly; it is a suspension bridge. I do not recommend for very young children.

The skybridge is great! Amazing views during the day, but night time has its own amazing views and the fire ring is great! Spent time making new friends!

Not for the faint of heart
May 2021
You have people going in both directions, and they want you to keep to the right, sooooo - it swings. Just a little, but it can really freak some people out. And there's a glass floor section right in the middle - so cool!
