"World Showcase France," in particular.
Adorable, quaint little streets to walk through & peruse the great shops, grab an ice cream or an (ICED!) coffee, and sit at a little table in the SHADE, or by the pretty fountain. (It was hot out and I nearly jumped in, lol!) Definitely worth a walk through. We particularly loved " God's Corner" shoppe and the work of a young man named Abraham at the Art Gallery.. I highly recommend putting this in your GPS!
BONUS: There are restrooms there as well!

We had originally stopped here to visit the Donut Friar but had so much fun window shopping all the other cute shops. We loved that it was tucked off Main Street, almost
like a secret treasure hunt. I will say some of the shops had smaller footprints and it was very crowded, on a Tuesday afternoon I might add, so we didn’t stay long and we didn’t go into very many shops because it was just too close for comfort with COVID. The shops we did go in where following safety protocols. Still a fun little place to sit and take in a little European village. There are plenty of places to sit if you are trying to avoid people.

Spent the time in the little town down the Skylift Park and this village was pretty neat. It’s really small, but the thematic decorations and the architecture makes you feel like it’s an entirely different place. There’s a popcorn shop inside, do buy a bag of freshly made popcorn and snack on it as you go around the rest of the little town.

This place is a joke. The level of friendliness is beyond lacking. The lady running the store had the audacity to get a attitude and roll her eyes at me for simply asking if they had a particular design. When she informed me that she did not, she was incredibly rude about her answer. I informed her that I would wait and went to hang the item back on a rack. She then proceeded to raise her voice and tell me to give it to her. I was beyond pissed at this point. I refuse to shop at this company ever again. I would rather pay $10 more to have to shipped from Etsy than to ever give these hateful people my money. Wish I could give less than 1 star.

This is by no means a must do when in the gatlinburg/pigeon forge area. Although the setting is unique charming and pretty, the shops are nothing special. I did not go in every one of them. They were all nice however what keeps me from wanting to go back is that you have to park far away and pay $10.00 for parking. Also the stores all had credit card fee's. Who charges credit card fee's in 2021? Some were even cash only.

Always love coming through here and checking out all the shops. Love the tea and spice shop and a new one I didn't see before was a sock shop...so many different styles of socks to choose from. And this little area is very pretty as well...I would recommend looking for a different bathroom, the only thing that wasn't so hot was the gross bathrooms in this area.

I love the Misty Soap and the Celtic Shop next door.So many wonderful items to choose from. The Donut Friar,Monograms. I can buy everything from donuts to hiking gear. Some items are extremely high priced but well worht it. Take a walk thru and enjoy the beautiful settings of flowers and benches .Many of the store workers are very nice and helpful.

I was hunting the old candle store that we visited some 50 yrs ago when we used to go to the Smokies and least one day and evening spent to window or shop at in Gatlingburg, TN. It was still in the village though they rearranged where the candle dipping and won't let you do a bunch of color dipping like before. They let you dip your own candle. Enjoyed, reminiscing over memories of the past with the owner who was there and told of where they used to have the candle hot wax dipping bins locating in the store. Thank you for letting me visit. On my next visit to the Smokies and Gatlingburg ..I'll be sure to stop by again. Hopefully, extended family will be with me.

I have been visiting the Village Shops in Gatlinburg for over 35 years now! This is one of my fondest memories from childhood and is still my favorite place on earth to this very day. Our children love it now too!

The Village is a small collection of shops tucked in a small brick walkway off the main strip in downtown Gatlinburg. Just steps from the parkway you will find unique shops, a couple of water fountains, a few eateries, beautiful flowers and seasonal decorations. The Donut Friar offers donuts/coffee, the creamery has ice cream, Pop culture has popcorn and the Ole Smoky Candy Kitchen offers lots of house-made treats! It is also a great spot to watch taffy being made on the OLD taffy machines in the large glass windows. Tucked in the back you will find a set of restrooms as well. One of our favorite shops is God's Corner as it has a nice selection of gifts.

Each trip to Gatlinburg we visit the Village...multiple times a day. We walk through the Village every morning and every evening! Kids love to stop and toss coins into the fountain. I love to stop and listen to the sound of the water cascading down into the fountain base. At night, it is a special treat to watch the flame touching the sky from the top of the central fountain.

Overall, the Village is a special place hidden right in the heart of downtown Gatlinburg. The moment my feet hit the brick walkway, I am transported into my heaven on Earth. The feel of the brick under my feet, the sound of the water cascading into the fountain pool, the smell of the donuts wafting through the mountain air, the beautiful pops of color on the flowers tucked throughout relaxes my mind and lifts my spirit. If you are in town, be sure to spend a few moments here. You will be glad you did.

This pretty little village of shops is a welcome respite from the general ugliness of Gatlinburg's main drag. The shops themselves don't offer much that's unique or different, but we enjoyed browsing them more because the setting was nice. Doughnuts seem to be among the more popular items sold here.
