Larry was an incredible guide, we got lucky! He was not corny at all, he was a great tour guide, full of knowledge both in local history and helping us understand the equipment & readings. It was an hour and a half that seemed to...More
We took the tour while on vacation. The guide was very knowledgeable and we learned so much about the history of the area. They only go out on the tour if there are enough people signed up, so make sure to call. Wear comfortable shoes...More
My hubby and I had a fun time. Bree was our guide and she told us many stories. I got a couple good orb pics and one that is a bit hard to explain. At first I though I must have been moving when I...More
Very interesting evening. A two hour trip into the past. A variety of good stories and history facts about the area. Our guide took the time to explain the equipment used and was right there to answer questions along the way. A very enjoyable evening...More
we like nighttime ghost walks. It's a great way to learn folklore about the area we are visiting, even if it's 90% made up and changed as time goes on. That's why it's folklore right? It's not going to scare you, it might even bore...More
My husband and I were looking forward to this tour as part of our honeymoon. We showed up 10 minutes early, moments before another family. There was neither guide nor sign to assure us that we were in the right place, but we had each...More
The cemetery and the EMF detectors were a lot of fun & just scary enough for us and our kids (ages 10 & almost 13), and all of our guide Daniel's stories about Gatlinburg's past--both way back and more recent--were great. Time well-spent on a...More
Walking tour met up after dark at the cemetary. Good place to start a ghost tour. Total walk may have been a mile, weaving through town area, an alley or two for effect. Very informative guide who answered all questions and was very good. Bits...More
With that being said, this Ghost walk of Gatlinburg was very informative and was well worth the price. I have read many reviews of this one and others that say "We were expecting ghost" well folks, there isn't going to be anyone in a white...More
We went on a walking tour of Gatlinburg with supposed ghost sightings. I'm not saying they don't exist but I didn't see any. However our tour guide made it very interesting with tales of past sightings and local folklore. The tour started at dusk and...More

paulie: My sister, brother-in-law, and I did this last summer and really enjoyed it. We met our guide about 10:00 p.m. at White Oak Flats cemetery waaaay up on a hill in Gatlinburg and she led us around many city blocks telling stories of murder and restless spirits. We finished up back near our starting point. I would definitely recommend it as one of those things you have to do once:)
Wish I was in Gatlinburg!
Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg...Closed??? (20 Replies)
I just noticed that the Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg website is offline. Does anyone know if they are out of business? I haven't tried calling them yet, just wondered if anyone had heard anything? I hope they aren't closed, I wanted to do their tour in Oct! :(

I have not done this tour, but there was a previous discussion regarding this last week...check out "Ghost Walk of Gatlinburg...Closed???" asked by firefighterzgrl. The write up for this attraction in a past "Best Read Guide" goes as this: Spine-tingling Tales Afraid of things that go bump in the night? If so, then one Gatlinburg attraction may be right up your alley-especially if it's a long, dark alley. Ghostwalk of Gatlinburg takes the brave of heart on nighttime walking tours of...More
