I'm a big fan of "unique" and "one of a kind" items, and usually love to find a treasure (or 2!) wherever we travel. I was so pleased to see this community was on the list of attractions, and I do encourage you to drive through it. I gave my review 4 stars instead of 5 because stores, and galleries... More

I have been coming to Gatlinburg off and on since I was 6 years old and had never made it over to this end of town. What a fantastic experience!!! My wife and I weren't able to make it all the way around the loop, but thoroughly enjoyed the section that we were able to visit. This is definitely a... More

I almost envy the talent that some of these people have. Love things that are made by hand. We always visit certain shops and look forward to seeing what is new.

We were a little unsure at first, because it wasn't what we expected. As we got further along on the loop it got more interesting and we found several stores that were fun to explore. We did better in the parts that were clustered, most of the individual stores we felt as if we were interrupting them. One of our... More

Perhaps I expected too much . It is very limited and not very interesting selection . Overpriced . Except perfect artist Doreen Prakshot gallery . Nobody painting bears the way she is! Very interesting nice personality.Another store good for souvenirs or crafters is Tim Weberding woodworking. Interesting selection ,good prices ,nice atmosphere .

We wouldn't go to the Smokey's with out a spin through the arts & crafts community. We love the little shops through out the community. Our favorite is the candle shop the owners are over the top nice and helpful. Can't wait to visit again.

I purchased earrings at this shop when I visited The Great Smoky Arts and Crafts Community. After wearing the earrings only a few times, they broke. I have written three emails to the shop regarding this purchase and have not had any kind of response from them. Be wary! Do not buy from this shop as they apparently do not... More

If your looking for items that are made by local craftsmen this is the place. I can't begin to describe all of the items you will find in the Arts & Crafts community. It is about an 8 mile loop to see all of the various shops. Most popular items include, pottery, hand made craft items, Smoky Mountain photography and... More

Enjoyed the day driving through the craft district. Many shops with the craftsman doing their work where you could watch them. Pottery was our favorite. Took about 3 hours but we didn't stop at every store. Many repeats. But worthwhile to go there.

Cozy small businesses with wonderful crafters. Met some really wonderful business owners and bought quality work. Only regret is that we went on Sunday and a lot of shops were closed. Would plan a week day if went again.
