The ride up on the lift was the highlight though they stop and slow down frequently. So it's hot outside, so are you. This place will be beautiful when completed, but options for dining, activities and shopping are very limited. Places to cool off are...More

Even though I am not a fan of heights, I really wanted to experience this because of pictures that friends posted. The views did not disappoint! Absolutely beautiful! Enjoyed lunch at their restaurant, first time trying a veggie burger and surprised that I couldn't tell...More

We went with our parents for the discounted local appreciation week admission. The line was long for the chairlift but moved pretty quickly. The gondolas were reserved for large parties or parties with babies, but when it’s less crowded maybe anyone can use them. The...More

Definately do not miss. This place was so beautiful and relaxing. The swinging bridges were great. I have some trouble walking but took my time and enjoyed. So affordable and the employees were very kind.

I had a blast with my best friend. Enjoyed the ride with much anxiety, but was okay by the end. The only negative thing I can say is that, at the top, there wasn't much else to do. It was beautiful scenery tho and educating...More

I am scared of heights but decided to try it anyway-so glad I did, it was a perfect day for us. Sure it was hot-but you’re on an open chair lift in the sun-what do people expect!! The scenery was breathtaking, the food at the...More

This is relatively new and expanding. It has 4 person chairs on the lift plus about 8 enclosed gondolas which hold six people on the “ski lift”going up to the top which takes 20 to 30 minutes. This gets you to the top which has...More

We rode the chairlift to the top to have lunch and explore the village at the top of the mountain.. It was really fun and we thought the vista garden was spectacular. Well worth the price.

It was some old cabins that were part of the Arrowmont school (which is located still behind the parking lot along with Pi Beta Phi Elementary School to the right of it)
