Always our first stop on our trips up North because of the great seafood and chicken salad sandwiches to take on our fishing trips!

Stopped by in 2015 to try for the first time and enjoyed our lunch. Stopped there again this year for lunch and experienced another enjoyable meal.

The Dockside Fish & Seafood Market is what its name states--it's a place that sells fresh seafood, with much of it presumably coming from Lake Superior, which can be seen just a short distance from the market. Thankfully, Dockside is more than a fish counter--it's also a small restaurant with a few tables where one can enjoy the fresh fish... More

My husband wanted some smoked salmon during our trip along the north shore. We heard about this fish market and decided to get some here. He loved it! And won't stop talking about it!

This is a great place to buy smoked fish. You can eat outside or get it wrapped and take it back to your cabin. They have trout, salmon, white fish, and a variety of others, depending on the time of the year. They also stock some gifts, wild rice, t-shirts, and souvenirs if you want to kill two birds with... You can not get fresher fish anywhere. The fish they serve is caught in the early morning and for sale as soon as the boat docks. We bring a small styrafoam cooler-- buy lots of fillets (skinless) --pack it with ice and seal the top on with duct tape and keep it out of the sun. We do not open... More

We headed over to the Fish Market on a whim after touring the North House and had a blast shopping and taste testing. They had a great selection to offer. We also noted they were about the only place we found to buy fresh fish and talked to family friends who are also old time residents who told us they... More

We drove up here from Beaver Bay just to check on the possibility of having some smoked fish sent back home to Tennessee. We had a nice lunch, and one of the owners came over to chat with us. She was very nice and gave us advice on how they ship their fish. Everyone was extremely friendly. It was worth... More

Went here based on the other reviewers recommendation of their fish and chips. The food was good, not a long wait. The dining area is very small, so if it is busy, expect to eat outside or take the food to go. Prices were average. Overall, pretty good.
