Used Stone Harbor for a half day kayak outing on Two Island Lake and had a great experience. We are both in our 60s and novice kayakers, so we were a bit wary of a strenuous trek. However, Beth, our friendly and expert guide, put...More

Thanks for the review. We find Two Island to be one of our favorite alternatives to Lake Superior. More wildlife, warmer water and generally calmer water. And as you found, Beth is great with paddlers of all ages and experience level. You should come back...More

Went on an inland 1/2 day kayaking trip and had an amazing time! We had a tough time finding a place that would do just a guided partial day trip, since so many places are focused on outfitting people for the BWCAW. Fortunately, we happened...More

So glad you had a great experience. We are starting to do more inland trips with younger kids since we cannot take them out on Lake Superior due to cold water and the dangers associated with the Big Lake. Hopefully it is an experience your...More

Thanks Alex. Those moose are wily creatures. There are those who live here that have seen very few so don't feel bad. But this is why our inland kayak tours are so great. One has a much better chance of seeing our wildlife and the...More
