If you like your chocolate dark and everything else spicy, then the dark chocolate cayenne fudge is for you. It's got some sass! My wife loved the cookie dough fudge and the kids loved their chocolate and mint chocolate too. Good value too! Great place to find dessert after grabbing a pizza at Sven and Ole's!

Great selection of swoonable fudge at this place! It is made fresh and there are several flavors for sale. Check out the free sample, that is what got us to buy a bunch. Candy selection is also retro and fun. Staff friendly and happy.

Gunflint Mercantile is the only place on earth with the best fudge and truffles. The owner's sparkling personality is a big bonus!

A trip to Grand Marais or to the BWCA isn't complete until you pick up some fudge here! And in the fall they have wonderful caramel apples too. Great selection, made in small but delicious batches and Chelsea will even mail fudge to all your favorite people too! The caramel apple sea salt is my hands down favorite...!

There is such an old-fashioned feel to this small town shop. It has a great selection of locally made goodies, old fashioned candies, ice cream, and the cutest aprons ever! We dropped in due to the lure of free fudge samples. We were able to try the dark chocolate salted caramel I think. It was yummy. We bought the traditional chocolate with walnuts which was also good and fudgey. There were many flavored to choose from. They also sell hard candies of many stripes and cute dried soup and rice... Awesome selection of fudge in every imaginable flavor. My favorite was the Salted Nut Roll. Other flavors that my family enjoyed were Red Velvet, Mint Chip, Oreo, and of course, their famous Maple Bacon. Large selection of other candies, jellies, coffee and other edibles to enjoy on the spot or on the road. You won't be disappointed.

Tons of samples and a huge selection of locally made eats makes this shop a no brainier for anyone looking for something sweet or spicy. We headed home with some strawberry-rhubarb jam and fudge for the long trip down the north shore. The shop keep was friendly and attentive without being too overattentive...

This is a great place to visit while in Grand Marais. The fudge is great plus they have a number of unique gifts. The owner, Chelsa, always has a smile on her face and a happy disposition. Did I mention the fudge is great. We never miss the Gunflint Mercantile when in Grand Marais.
