Family day outings with canyon exploring, swimming on private beaches or isolated coves. Providing all equipment, fuel, sunscreen, towels, and non alcoholic beverages. For the price of renting a boat you can have a chartered sport boat trip on magnificent Lake Powell with everything included.

This was such an incredible experience. Randy was a terrific host. He has amazing knowledge of the area, lake, and great swimming spots. He has so much patience, I couldn't believe how kind he was to all of our group. We had a wide range of ages, sizes and abilities, and he made us all feel comfortable and welcomed. I recently had a knee replacement and wasn't sure I could even get inside the boat. He was patient, kind, and considerate of my circumstances. He is amazingly strong and was able to single handedly give me the support I needed to maneuver myself into the boat. He has at his disposal tubes, surf boards, knee boards etc to everyone to have a great time on the water. He also provided plenty of water, Gatorade, and snacks for all in our party. This experience was well worth the money and I would highly recommend Skooney's Lake Powell Adventure to everyone. We would definitely do this again.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND Randy to anyone who's wanting to have an incredible time on Lake Powell doing lots of different water sports!
Randy was an absolute legend. He taught 5 of us how to wake surf, and was extremely patient in making sure we all got enough time for repeated tries to get on the board and stand up!
He took us to some incredible locations, and was super friendly and knowledgeable. His speed boat fit 10 of us comfortably with enough sun shade so we weren't in the open sun for 6hrs straight.

Randy was recommended to us serendipitously. Having read some of his flawless reviews, I was tempted to play a practical joke and add some balance to all the conformity. Alas, Randy is just too good of a person and an amazing guide. His one flaw is allowing his customers to set the itinerary and this is how our boat trip began. Having come to the Lake Powell area at the time of full Navajo Nation closures, we had this idea to convince Randy to navigate us through the narrows of Antelope Canyon, dump us into the frigid waters to swim to the back entrance of the canyon. All went well when we reached land and like exhibitionists hiked the canyon in our swimsuits and bikinis with almost no one there. And just to celebrate the occasion after our swim back to a waiting Randy, we popped the champagne and merrily enjoyed the rest of our adventure into an amazing Arizona sunset. Thank you Randy for sharing your boat and your stories. We are richer in knowing you. Hope to see you again my friend.

Wow! This was by far the best trip ever to lake powell. Having an experienced captain on the boat to navigate the lake was absolutely worth every penny! Randy was amazing and made the day so much fun. With his tips and instructions for wake surfing, our entire party of 6 were able to surf and it was everyone's first time! I will definitely be using his services again in the future!

This was absolutely the best experience I’ve had at Lake Powell! Randy was super accommodating, personable, fun, and knowledgeable. Our family learned so much about Lake Powell, had enough time to do all the activities we wanted to, were well hydrated, sun screened, enjoyed snacks, and shown some pretty sweet spots on the lake.
Randy taught us how to knee board and surf and was patient, and encouraging! When most of us jumped in the lake he was there keeping the others company on the boat. Not one complaint! Would love to book again in the future! Mahalo nui loa/thank you!

Captain Randy was great especially given that we went out on one of the rarest of rainy days on the lake! We saw a whole different perspective including waterfalls. We had a blast including tubing and wake surfing. We highly recommend Skoony's Lake Powell Adventure!

We recently survived a 12 day excursion to the southwest and the day we experienced with Captain Randy was not only the most memorable, it was impeccably perfect. Randy was a masterful navigator and his equipment was top notch and in perfect operating condition. Randy traversed the lake throughout the day ensuring we experienced all the most enjoyable views of the rock formations and canyons. Randy was always in total control of the watercraft as if it was an extension of himself. The refreshments were very enjoyable and we could not have experienced a more exciting and pleasant day on Lake Powell.

Skonny’s Lake Powell adventure was an awesome time. He is a great guy willing to show people a good time. His boat is incredibly nice and fast, and I don’t think I’ve had a better time wake surfing or wake boarding! His knowledge of Lake Powell is also unmatched, and he knows just about every good spot on the lake. Definitely worth it!

Ellen and I booked Randy for a full day of exploring the lake. We weren’t sure if we’d find the time to visit again and wanted to see as much as possible during our 8hrs. Randy gave us the rundown on all the possibilities, we talked about it... and off we went.
It was a perfect day on the water. Randy knows everything about the lake - not just where to go and what to do, but also when is the best time for exploring each area. Pretty darn amazing.
We did everything we wanted to do, and had a blast from start to finish. And it wasn’t only experiencing the awe of the lake; it was also just chatting with Randy. He’s gregarious and the love he has of the lake, his responsibility as a guide to provide a wonderful experience, and simply his interest in getting to know his guests, were all on display. By the end of the day, we had gone from “not sure if our travels will ever take us back to these parts” to “let’s plan our next trip.” It was that good.
Now... if only he could figure out a way to do something about the heat... 😎

Could not have imagined a better driver, coach, companion and encourager for the day. We have four kids (ranging between 14-7) and every single one of them had the time of their life. My face hurt from laughing so much as the they swam, jumped off ledges into the water, and tubed. We also got to see portions of Lake Powell that were closed off due to Covid. The best decision we made as a family on this trip.

What is your availability for October 21 to 23. We will be in Kanab trying the in person lottery to The Wave so it will be difficult to book in advance . Can we call the day prior and check if you have openings for 2 adults , half day in the canyons. No swimming /tubing

Boats limit is 18, I've had 14 on it but I limit it for comfort so it depends on what you want to do for the day. Whats the date your looking for, all adults or mix of kids and if your wanting water activity or not. Full day or Half?
