Incredible Views
Sep 2021
We just walked along the dam overlook. Just loved the views. You could see the Dam in full view. Just be careful going down bc of the ruggedness & sand, you can easily slip.

Beautiful views, steep hike/walk!

This was a nice place to see the dam and the river. It’s a short walk BUT the steps are steep! Nice little area to snap some pictures.

Very Nice!

The bridge and overlook is very similar to the Hoover Dam, both of which can only be described as man made marvels. If you're headed to Horseshoe Bend or Antelope Canyon, it's definitely worth a stop, even though the Ranger Station is closed.

Go here! Sunrise is the best.
Jul 2021
Stopped here only because we were literally driving by it. Turned out to be spectacular. It was early morning and nobody else was there. Dead silent with amazing views into the canyon. We went again later in the morning and there was only one other couple there. A great way to experience Page.

Nice stop before slot canyon tour
Jul 2021 • Couples
Beautiful view, worth the short trek over the sandy rock to check it out. We spent 15 minutes here before our slot canyon tour.

View was great. Walk was a little more strenuous than most people note.
Jun 2021
Great view but disappointed in low water level. The walk there is a steady decline which means it is a continuous incline all the way back. It was more exerting than anyone had noted, especially if you are getting up therein age, a bit overweight or have some disability. Thankfully I had bought me and my wife reflective umbrellas which protected us from the searing sun. I was surprised at how many people came unprepared with no hats or water. Come prepared folks. The sun is super strong.

Best Views of the River, Canyon and Dam
Jun 2021
There is a scenic drive that runs somewhat parallel to Highway 89 and the Colorado River after crossing the bridge and heading toward Page. Watch for the sign. There is off street free parking. No fee involved at the site itself. It does required a bit of a hike down to the viewing area with some steepness to it, but there are guard rails on much of the trail. You can go at your own pace. The viewing are offers great photo ops of the canyon, Colorado River and the Glen Canyon Dam. It actually has a better view of the dam than some of the closer venues. There is a stone table you can sit at under a covered area if you want rest or have a snack. If you are passing through Page, it is worth a stop.

Nice view
May 2021
Right off the road, this would be a great view. But the lake in May 2021 is at half capacity. So very sad! Still worth the stop.

Definitely worth a quick, easy stop to Marvel
May 2021 • Couples
We were there real early and Visitors Center wasn’t open yet. We walked out on the Bridge to marvel at the Engineering Work done to Construct the Dam & The Bridge too ! Then you go across on other side to marvel at Mother Natures work at cutting the deep Canyon in awesome Rock Walls. It’s a sight to see !

Engineering Marvel !!
Apr 2021
Serious? I couldn’t stop marveling at this immense work of pure Marvel! Wow 🤩. Please do yourself a favor and please enter the parking area, proceed to the dam and the most incredible views in Arizona! It’s free, doesn’t take long, walk across the bridge and stop and take pictures of the beauty of both the Dam and views.
What a sight to see !
Possibly one of my highlights of my road trip through Arizona!
