Our two guides were excellent. They were not only a wealth of information, but very engaging. We felt more like friends than tourists. At no point did we feel like we were on a schedule, but free to wander through and enjoy the scenery.

The scenery was as expected, interesting and amazing. The guides were really good about pointing out angles and shots we'd have missed. Again, no sense of being rushed.

This place is amazing. Our guide Dylan was friendly, accommodating, and informative. He let us explore and take pictures without imposing a strict agenda, but rather adjusting to our pace and allowed us extra time in areas of interest for us. We took the longer photography tour and enjoyed it fully. Waterhole Canyon is just as pretty as Antelope Canyon, but a lot calmer. It has a few places with stairs and a few narrow areas that only added to the adventure. All in all a wonderful experience!

I can not say enough about this tour! I went off season but I was the only one on this trip, a welcomed relief to the crowds at upper and lower antelope canyons. Traveling solo, I felt safe the whole time. My tour guide, Jason, did great! It is stunning! I paid around $50 but I know that changes seasonally. Jason recommend Antelope Canyon X tours and I did that after this one - also amazing. There are two slots that you go through on this tour.

We picked Water Holes Canyon with Waterhole Canyon Experience for a mire relaxed, leas crowded slot canyon tour and that is exactly what we got. Note... coming from Page, the tour office and meeting is a bit past the specified mile marker and you can’t see it until right at their entrance... so keep going slowly after the mile marker about another. 1.4 mile. We enjoyed this tour very much! The beauty and color of the rock formations was breathtaking. I was torn between taking pix and just enjoying the beauty and peacefulness of the canyon. Our guide, McKyle, pointed out places to take good photos, took pix of us, and told us interesting facts about tue canyon. He was very patient with answering our questions. Highly recommend! Note there are porta-potties at the tour office and one at the starting point for the hike.

My husband and I went at the last minute and drove out there on Dec. 20th. We were the only ones on the tour and had this gorgeous canyon all to ourselves!!!! There were 3 to 4 separate canyon areas. There were stairs and some tight areas to get throuch but nothing too strenuous. It made the tour more interesting. Our guide, Mikial, (not sure of the spelling), was awesome. He gave us time to look around and take as many pictures as we wanted. He told us a lot about the history of the area and Water Holes. I highly recommend this tour. Ditch Antelope Canyons if you can do stairs and walk a bit.

Natasha was our guide and was so knowledgeable!!!! We learned so much about the Navajo nation as well as the lower canyon. We were in the first group (915am) and it was about 30 degrees. I believe this played a part in us not being rushed and actually being able to take dope shots and walk slowly. We were able to use their military discount (show your ID!) by asking. It's worth the savings! Parking is free and abundant. You're greeted with a ceremonial tribal dance prior to the tour then you are paired with a guide. Bring cash for gratuity! I was totally not prepared and did not have cash on hand and felt horrible because she did such a great job :(
There are a few flights of stairs, one being super steep so I suggest climbing down like you would a ladder. It made life easier for us. I had an infant strapped to my chest with a carrier and a 4 year old and we made it through the tour just fine. Ask your guide for the best settings for your phone to get the best shots! The only reason I give a 4 versus a 5 is because for the price, I'd love to have longer than an hour for the tour. That's my only complaint :)

We were thrilled by our visit to Water Hole Canyon. We originally planned to visit Antelope Canyon but were unable to book a tour that worked for us time wise. Our hotel suggested Water Hole Canyon and we were happy that they did. The visit started with a 10 minute ride to the site. We hiked for an hour and a half. We climbed down ladders and up rock formations. The views were incredible. We were the only group in the canyon so we didn’t have to deal with crowds or other tours. Our guide, Jason, was fantastic. He answered questions about Water Hole Canyon as well as the Navajo. Jason was great with my 9 year old boys, who were the only two children in our group. He allowed them to safely explore the canyon and answered their many questions. We have visited many wonderful sites in the last week but Water Hole Canyon has been everyone’s favorite. The price was in line with other tours that we considered booking. It is a great tour for active children who like to explore!

Wow. Who knew this was as lovely as some of the Antelope Canyon tours?
Stunning photos and slot canyons. Really overall a moderately difficult trail. I’d call it easy but their were some older folks and younger children on the tour who did fine but seemed tired at times.
Wear good shoes.
A paid guided tour is a requirement to enter.
Took about 1-5 hours.

We visited Upper Antelope Canyon in the morning and water holes Canyon in the afternoon. We enjoyed waterholes a lot. It is not rushed. Very beautiful and more adventurous (though very manageable). We had lot of fun and highly recommend it. Our guide Jolene was very helpful and had answers to most questions

Do this tour! Our tour guide Jason was very knowledgeable and willing to take his time and answer any and all questions we had. This is a family owned operation that cares about the land and your experience. My husband and I had a fabulous experience. We signed up online and then paid out at the tour site. There was no question about the price as it was the exact price the website stated so I don't know what one of the other reviewers was complaining about? This is a beautiful canyon and tour. Thank you Jason.
