My husband and I did a private SUP tour with Britt as our guide. We started at the Wahweap boat ramp and paddled along the shoreline through the moored houseboats past State Line Marina, then we crossed the lake and headed into Ice Cream Canyon, where we took a break on a beach, then we headed back to Wahweap along the opposite shoreline. The scenery was gorgeous in the lake and canyon. We saw lots of fish jumping and swallows nesting in the canyon walls. Britt is an awesome guide and clearly is an experienced paddleboarder. She let us set our own pace and checked in on us frequently, which was nice, since we’re older (55 & 58) and have no experience with Lake Powell conditions. She was very knowledgeable about the lake and surrounding area, and it was enjoyable chatting with her. She also took some wonderful photos of us. Lake Powell Paddleboards provided boards with bungees for gear, paddles, PFDs, and leashes. The boards were new Glide boards and we really liked them because they handled the boat wakes well. Britt also brought a cooler with cold bottled water and snacks, which was a nice touch. We decided to do a private tour (as opposed to just renting boards) because we’re not familiar with Lake Powell, and we’re glad we did because we wouldn’t have known where the No Wake zones were or about Ice Cream Canyon. It’s a good idea to schedule early in the day (we started at 7 a.m.) because the wind picks up and there are more boat wakes the later it gets.…

LPP is consistently awesome. I went out into Antelope Canyon for private tour back in October 2019 and recently again in May 2022. If you can do a private tour it's so worth it. Either way for all tours, group and private, LPP preps and brings all equipment DOWN to the water. This was incredibly helpful since the water levels were drastically lower than when I went in 2019 and we could not use the regular boat launch. Required a steep-ish short walk. There was no way I could have handled walking down there carrying a stand up paddle board. Max guided my private tour for two and was just the perfect amount of helpful and chill. He made us feel safe the entire time. Will be coming back and booking private tours for years to come with only LPP. Thanks again to Max, Erin, and Libby! …

We had the best morning on the 9am kayak tour! Our guide was fantastic, super friendly and helpful. We learnt lots about the area and were fortunate to be in a small group as they had some cancellations. Our guide even helped a couple who had capsized after being given a dodgy kayak by another company. I’d definitely recommend these guys!…

The kayak and hike tour was amazing! We are a family with 1 teenager who had a blast. We did the 7am tour and I’m so glad we did. There was only 1 other couple on our tour so it felt like a private tour. We were the only people on the lake and in the canyon, so we were able to hike farther back and take lots of pictures without people in them. When we left the slot canyon, there was a traffic jam of people arriving. 7:00 am tour was definitely worth the early wake up time. It was such a fun trip! Our guide, Gabby, was a huge part of the positive experience. She was friendly, fun, professional, and so considerate. She was particularly engaging with our teenager, took great pics of our family, and kept us safe while making it an exciting hike. I highly recommend this company and adding on the hike to your tour!…

The lake level might be down a bit, ok a bunch, but it doesn’t take away from the grandeur of Lake Powell. We took a 1/2 day paddle board rental and had a great time exploring the shoreline canyons. The staff was very friendly and had solid directions to the launch spot. My only suggestion for ownership is that it’s time to upgrade the SUPs, they are getting a little rough. (Tough to keep good gear in a rental business I will acknowledge)…
