My friends and I did the Lower Canyon trip with Will, Sean, Kale and Neil after hiking down Bright Angel Trail. Most of us are hard core adventurists, extremely well traveled; we were a bit worried about doing a commercial motorized trip but were on time constraints and wanted to experience as much of the canyon as we could. These... More

Let me start by saying I am NOT a camping person. I have dreaded this trip since we booked a year ago because the thought of camping for 6 nights gives me cold chills. However, the great crew and the efficiency of the company made this an awesome trip. The raft pilots "Wilbur" and Sean were knowledgeable and very capable.... More

There are no words to explain this wonderful adventure, Just do it! Thank you to Richard, Jenny, Tyler, and Siobhan for all the hard work you guys do day in and day out, you truly made this adventure me. This was a trip I didn't want to go on, but now I cannot wait to go again. I cannot say... More

We just finished the lower canyon hybrid trip, with both oar and paddle boats. I'm a paddle boat type of guy and would have loved to have paddled every day, but regardless of your preference, oar/paddle is an amazing way to experience the river. The food was unlike anything I expected while camping, we certainly didn't lose any weight while... More

Here I currently sit a month later after a week rafting 187 miles on the Colorado River through the Grand Canyon. I am still about rendered speechless by the experience. During that week, I was freezing...broiling hot...wet from rain, swimming, rapids and tears (from complete fear)...always in awe of our grand old canyon's glory, power and beauty. It's so much... After a 6-day oar trip 3 years ago I was lucky enough to return to Grand Canyon with my parents and younger brother this June for double the time. My Mum and Dad fell in love with the place (and WRA) almost 20 years ago and that’s certainly something that’s been passed down in the genes. There wasn’t a moment... More

My husband and I decided we wanted to do something different for our 35th anniversary so we booked the 4 ½ day lower river trip. Wildernesses River Adventures and their teams will take care of you start to finish. The hike down is at your own pace and the guide stays behind the last hiker. The last part (1/2 mile... More

Without a doubt, the crew made this trip an incredible one! Husband and I and our two sons (14,18) did the 4 day lower canyon trip. We hiked down the Bright Angel trail and met up with the crew at the boat beach near Phantom Ranch. From the start Brendyce and her crew (Erica, Neal and Kale) took excellent care... More

An "AWESOME" 8 day rafting trip through the Grand Canyon. The crew, Sean, James and Tyler were outstanding! Meals were great! Tremendous scenery, exciting white-water (9 &10 rapids), Desert Bighorn Sheep, new sleeping bag provided, comfortable cots to sleep on under the stars, tents in case of rain. Great camping locations. Fun helicopter ride out of canyon upon completion of... More

If you are looking for a Grand Canyon tour group, Wilderness River Adventures is the group to use. The booking was simple and they provided a thorough information packet regarding the trip. We took an 8 day motorized tour. The River guides, Sean, Tyler, and James were very professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and made the trip more enjoyable. They were also... More
