I was a bit apprehensive of doing the Lower Canyon but once inside its a piece of cake. If you can walk up/down stairs you are good. Nothing to stoop under but a few little spots where you have to step one foot at a time but otherwise, very easy to move around. First part of the tour you walk to the entrance and descend some 40 steps but everything has handrails on it and landings. The groups were evenly spaced between each other that you never realized anyone else was in there but your own group. Our guide Ryan Begay was awesome. He will take pictures of you and show you spots to take your own. He played his flute solo at the end of the tour. Cant say how wonderful this tour was. The colors were spectacular even on a cloudy day. Kens Tours also has a gift shop/cafe with authentic Navajo tacos which are super yummy and a great view to watch all the happenings while you eat your meal. There was even a Navajo dance being performed while we ate our breakfast. Bathrooms on site as well. Highly recommend. You park your car at their lot and check in. I would recommend making reservations ahead of time as they will fill up as the summer approaches. We went February 28, 2020. Its about a one hour tour in total in terms of taking a lot of pictures etc and walking to the entrance. The other tour company Dixies that does the same tour is located a little farther on the same property so they offer 1 1/2hr tours but its the same canyon and you walk further to get to the entrance that is why its 1 1/2 hrs. Recommend over X canyon too.

We had a 10:30 am group tour on Sunday March 8th. It was easy to book the tour online and all instruction was sent via email with clear instructions.
Our tour guide was very wonderful, informative and friendly. She helped everyone set up their phones and digital cameras to the correct setting, also helped taking group photos for us. She also gave us great tips to take photos. While lower Antelope Canyon is amazing and stunning, having a great tour guide is definitely very important. Our tour guide was enthusiasm and extremely informative and helpful.
We started the tour right on time and even though there were a big crowd but we never felt rushed.
Ken’s tour offers a few different tours. We booked the combination of Upper and Lower tour with them. While I wish I can say the same praises with my Upper Tour experience but sadly that was a big disappointment. However if you are visiting the Lower Antelope Canyon, I highly recommended to book with Ken’s tour.

AMAZING experience! Ken's is located right at the entrance to the lower canyon with plenty of parking. The check in process was easy and well coordinated. They recommend checking in 30 minutes in advance and make sure you're following AZ time not UT time by mistake (some cell phones will pick up the UT cell towers and switch timezones automatically). They are serious about their no bag policy but will allow clear fanny packs and water bottles. Definitely bring your water. Wouldn't recommend for people with difficulty walking stairs or walking through tight spaces.
Our Navajo guide was excellent and very willing to talk to his about the Canyon's and Navajo traditions and culture, he even sang us a Navajo song in the canyon which made the experience extra special. Due to the strict COVID protocols on Navajo Nation, masks were required in the canyon when we went, although you could lower them for photos- they were very strict about this. The gift shop was open but the bathrooms were closed.
The canyon is one of the top three most beautiful places I've ever seen. Highly recommend and book in advance!

Personally my experience with Kens Tours was not great.

They advertise limited number of 7 people per group. However, we had an 11am tour on a Friday and there were actually 5 groups of 7 or 8 people each (my group had 8 plus our guide). One group goes down into the canyon every 3 minutes. There are always people in front of you and in back of you and you have to move at a steady pace.

Their rules are very straightforward - you cannot take off your mask in the canyon. No videos in the canyon. Unfortunately someone in the group ahead of us took off their mask several times and had to be escorted out. So, instead of having 8 people plus our guide we now had 15 people plus our guide (our groups had to combine due to the other guide escorting the individual out).

Overall it felt like a tour that is great for staged pictures/Instagram shots. Yes I have some beautiful photos but in retrospect it was not worth the cost of admission. I left feeling let down and disappointed.

I'd recommend the other tour for Lower Antelope Canyon (Dixie's) as it appeared that they truly have 1 group of 7 (max) per time slot, or go to Upper Antelope Canyon. The canyon is beautiful but the masses of people and time we took for staged photos was too much.

This is a review on their reservations team. I will update on the actual tour once that happens.
I booked for 3 people 2 months prior because I know these tours sell out rather quickly. I called a few days ago to make a change in my reservation time. The whole process was quick and painless. They were friendly, professional, and easy to work with.

Incredibly poor customer service - Do not Book at Ken's Tours

My wife and I had reservations for an 11:30am tour. At the11:00 tour they still had openings. the person in charge was looking for people to fill the tour. We said to him we will go on the 11:00, basically ignored us and continued to go into the parking lot to look for people to sign up, they found people which they classify as walk ups. So they signed them up right there instead of giving us the 11:00 because they said we already have tickets for the 11:30. What they should have done was sign them up for the 11:30, which i am sure would have been just fine with them.

No sooner had the 11am trip left when he came over to us and said the rest of the tours were going to be cancelled for the rest of the day because of high winds. We were incredulous, Why did you not put us on the 11 instead of looking for people.

We had purchased our tickets over a month in advance and our only sole purpose to go to Page was to visit Lower Antelope Canyon. We understood that it could be canceled due to weather. But when you take a walkup over someone who has tickets and you know that it could be canceled why would you take a person over someone who has tickets and you know you will be closing due to weather. Well that is their incredibly inflexible policy. He very easily could have done that.
So we were not able to do the tour which we were very excited about. If we ever are out that way again we will book with their competitor. The manager was very rude and just walked away.

I came here about five years ago and the experience was amazing. My boyfriend and I decided to visit Antelope Canyon again this year again. And I am so glad Ken's Tours is now open! Our tour guide, Ana M., is phenomenal! She was not only knowledgeable of the region, the Navajo history but was extremely proficient at capturing breath-taking views and portrait shots for EVERYONE in the group. Due to the pandemic, the groups were quite small (ours was only 6) which provided us more time to explore the canyon without the rush. The entire trip was about an hour long. We checked in around 30 minutes before our tour time(8:30am). Although our tour was not at prime time, the morning sun was enough to gift us incredible canyon photos! Every step forward led us to another unimaginable wonder. I've been to both upper and lower Antelope Canyon, and I would suggest Lower to anyone who is active enough to climb a few flights of stairs. The lower canyon is a lot more interactive and so much more to see! ANOTHER BIG THANKS TO ANA! Thank you for making this experience such a memorable one! We recommend Ken's Tour to anyone who is interested to

My fiancé and I decided to book one of the tours to the Lower Antelope Canyon last minute and we were blown away! Our tour guide, Jose, was phenomenal! He cracked jokes the entire time, told us about the Navajo history, pointed out good photo ops, and even took some amazing photos on our phones. We had a tour at 10:30am and it lasted about an hour. Jose said the best times to visit are during the off season so there are not as many people, and during the early to late morning for the best picture ops. If you are thinking of going to the Upper Antelope Canyon, Jose suggested that you go between April and July during the mid-day so you can see the light rays that they are known for. The price was $55 per person plus a $8 permit to be on Navajo land and a little tax. I think it came out to be around $73 per person after all of that. I was a little skeptical about the price at first, but I can say it was 1000% worth it! Also, since we went during the off season (March) we were able to get tickets the morning of. I would recommend getting tickets in advance if you are traveling during more popular times.

I booked a tour on Ken's tour website to lower antilope canyon; the tour was scheduled on 16th August at 12.30 pm . That day I checked in at kens tour station but found out that the canyon was closed for night flooding. There were no other tickets available all day long and a 2 pages waiting list, so they suggest to ask for refunding.

The funny thing is that when I try to contatc them, Ken's tour kindly remindes me that "they have successfully Refunded the Agency, Chinese Host Destination", but up to now I haven't received any refund, neither from Ken's nor from Chinese Host Destination - BTW, a company of which Ken's tour personnnel have repeatedly refused to share contacts for almost a month and that never replies to my emails.

What I cannot understand is why on earth I shall liaise with a 3rd party provider if I booked my tour on Ken's tour website and payed 90 $ each ticket. Is it maybe an intended mechanism to rip off tourists that have no bargaining power to get their money back once left?

Our family of 4 (2 young adult daughters) chose to do the deluxe tour with Ken's Tours. We will all say it was a highlight of our Grand Canyon/Page adventure. Malcolm was our tour guide and he was awesome. With the Deluxe Tour package you get private check in (don't have to wait in the line outside), private waiting area, free bottled water, separate introduction and then a private tour guide. The guide is with you and JUST your group for the whole tour. This was the amazing part - Malcolm could stop and take as many pictures as we wanted as well as guide us through the canyon. He helped with settings on our cameras so we could get the perfect shots and also took incredible family photos. This would not be able to happen on the regular tours because of the size of the group. The Deluxe Tour with Ken's Tours is the way to go! We also got a gift at the end of the tour. Definitely a high class operation!! Highly Recommend and ask for Malcolm!!
