My wife and I were on our honeymooon traveling through the southwest and decided to stop in Lake Powell. We wanted to get out on the lake and see antelope canyon. With the Navajo Reservation closed due to COVID and the Resorts not running their boat tours - we opted for the 6am Sunrise Kayak into Lower Antelope Canyon.
It did not disappoint! Our guide had such a great and warm personality it made the experience that much more enjoyable. We both highly recommend doing the 6am, Why? Because the water was super flat, you had the lake basically to yourself and the same goes for the canyon. You get to experience the sun entering each turn of the canyon as you venture further in both in kayak and on foot.
The journey out was also really fun - you get to see how alive the lake gets as you make your way back and you really get to enjoy the sun as well. Lastly you get a chance to cool off with a little cliff jumping and swimming.
All in All - this was a highlight and one of the best memories from our honeymoon.

My husband and I are visiting Page on our honeymoon and we came across Lake Powell Adventure Co. through a Google search and decided to book a tour, and we are so glad we did! We booked a 4 hour 7am kayak and hike tour of Lake Powell & Antelope Canyon. Danny was such a fun guide and very knowledgeable about the history of the canyon. So glad we booked an early tour because we beat the crowds and practically had the whole Lake and canyon to ourselves! We highly recommend checking out this company if you are in town. They offer several different tours and even have motorized bike tours! We would love to come back someday and try another tour! Thanks again for a beautiful morning in the canyon Danny!

We did the kayak tour of Lake Powell and hike into Antelope Canyon, and highly recommend this tour. The scenery is outstanding, and the diversity of the paddling, hiking, and swimming made for a memorable four hours. We took the 7 a.m. tour and got on the water before it got crowded. The water was also calmer early in the morning. If you're staying in Page, I highly recommend getting up early for the 7 a.m. tour. Note, though, that you do need to be in reasonable shape for this tour. It's a total of 5 miles of kayaking (2.5 miles each way), and it can be strenuous if the wind picks up.

Thank you so much for the review! An early morning tour is the way to go if the air temp allows. It is true, the wind can be a factor, everyone makes it though. Some may have an epic story to tell of their journey, and a true sense of accomplishment.

This company did everything right, from easy online booking all the way to the post-trip online photo posting, and they have an exceptional service and destination to offer. We did the 4 hour kayak/hike in Antelope Canyon. Pre-trip we received an informative email explaining everything we needed to know, including how to find the meeting place and to screen shot the directions and map because you may not have internet service once you get close.
The tour itself was well organized and the guide (we had Danny) was knowledgeable, offering history and background in geological formations, gave clear instructions, and kept everyone on track to stay on schedule. Equipment (kayaks, dry bags/boxes) was good quality. A few days after the tour we received a link to access the photographs the guide took. Note, these pictures were available to download and share in social media at no additional charge.
The tour itself was amazing. We went on the first one scheduled that day and no one else was in the canyon when we arrived. It was a windless morning, so the surface of the water was as smooth as glass. This made for an unforgettable paddle as we slid through the water looking from the cliffs then into the reflection in the water, unable to discern where rock ended and water began. I have never seen anything to match it.
The hike through the slot canyon was quite fun, mostly walking with a little rock scramble along the way. The further we got into the canyon, the cooler the rock formations became. The best ones were at the very end. Another huge plus for this tour right now is that the only way to access Antelope Canyon right now is by water due to closures of Navajo access points.
I would do this tour with this company again in a heartbeat. It’s a great value for what you get, and it was so nice to work with a company that was so well organized.

We booked this tour because you can only get into Antelope Canyon from the lake while the Navajo reservation is shut down. This was a “plan B” for us but wow! This tour was a highlight of our vacation. We booked the 6am-10am tour which left from the boat ramp and paddled around to the entrance to Antelope Canyon. We then hiked in about a mile and we’re awe struck by the undulating rock towards the end of our hike. Our guide was Britton and he is fantastic! Britton is a joyous young man that loves the outdoors. He was encouraging, informative and fun to be around. We would highly recommend this tour to our friends.

It was our first time visiting Page and we definitely wanted to experience Lake Powell in a unique way. We booked the 10am kayak tour around Lone Rock and it was amazing! I was nervous about the heat in the summer but it was surprisingly very nice and didn't even break a sweat. The views were phenomenal and the experience of kayaking through the canyon and cliff jumping was definitely memorable! I highly recommend this tour for anyone that wants to truly experience Lake Powell and all its beauty. Nick, our tour guide, was awesome!

We ended our vacation here in Arizona with the best! We were lucky to get a spot because we were so last minute with our booking and didn’t realize the city was so busy with the Navajo nation closing down the parks. We went to Arizona mainly for antelope canyon and when we found out it was closed, we were so disappointed, until, we got to speak to Danny and he got us in. This is the only way to view antelope canyon with covid. Danny was honest from the beginning. He called to tell us the water was rough and that the way up the lake would be sporty to give us a heads up. We went anyway because we were leaving the next day. When we got there he told us again and was willing to make another trip just for us to ENSURE that we enjoyed this epic adventure. At first I though this dude just doesnt want to paddle, but it so wasn’t the case. He had a full tour and was genuinely concerned for our best experience with him. We had a blast!!!!! He was super chill and enjoyed being out there with us every minute as much as we did. Thank you Danny! Best guide ever!

This was an AMAZING experience! Seeing Antelope Cavern was on my bucket list and the only way to see it due to COVID was by kayak. I'm so glad I found this company because it made the experience just that much more amazing. We had our two youngest kids (ages 10 and 15) was I was a little concerned about the kayaking portion. It's 1 1/2 hours kayaking there, one hour hiking in the canyon and then 1 1/2 hours back on Lake Powell. We had not trouble at all. It's so unbelievably pretty that you don't ever get tired. Eric was a great guide! We took some snacks and ate them right when we arrived at the cavern before the hike. It was a chilly spring day but we ended up taking off layers because you get warm. They provide dry bags to put your stuff in and waterproof pants. We took them off before hiking. Take your camera!!

This was our second kayak tour with Lake Powell Adventure, this time the trip was to Antelope canyon. Britton was a great guide and answered our questions and made sure we were not left behind (since the 11 year olds in our boats are not the best paddlers!) He also gave us local information for things to do after the kayaking. We did the 8am tour which I would recommend over the afternoon because of the choppiness of the water.

We had a great kayak tour starting at Lone Rock Beach. We called early Saturday morning to inquire about the logistics before booking, and they were able to fit us in on the 10 AM tour easily. We drove to the meeting spot, which is a cool combination breakfast cafe and tour office, then drove in a caravan to the Utah side of Lake Powell (15 minutes by car, maybe) and they had the kayaks ready for us there. We had been kayaking before, but not in dry climates like this, and our guide Shevon made sure we took breaks. We paddled around, beached the kayaks on a few rock outcroppings for swimming and diving, then paddled to some quieter areas away from the motorboats. We even saw a whole family of bighorn sheep! The 4-hour tour was a great way to see the lake. Tip: if your car isn't a 4x4, don't drive too far onto the beach sand. The staff had to help us when our Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited got stuck. They're great!

We are so glad you had fun! Good news, Antelope Canyon is open for kayaking! We don't have to mess with the deep sand at Lone Rock beach any more! Thank you so much for the review, we are so glad you had a good time with Siobhan (no worries, no one can spell her name).
